This restaurant is always lovely to go out for dinner at. The staff are always very kind. The food is yummy and there is never a long wait for the food to come out. The food is well priced. I'd recommend this place for dinner.

This was our third visit to this little restaurant, the last time about 12 years ago when we used to live nearby. If anything I felt the food had got better. We all had the set meal, but with a different selection of meats. I had the beef curry in mine and it was really lovely. Very tender and delicious. I wish it was still on my doorstep!

We returned for a quick Saturday lunch, taking advantage of the unusual short queue. The ramen was still pretty tasty and fresh. However, the standard of the broth has slipped that day. The depth of favour of a well brewed broth was missing, it tasted like MSG laden dish soup. The shao pork was not lightly grilled but a slice of boiled pork. I gave 4 stars here based on the many good experiences from previous visits. I hope the next visit would redeem Nao back to where it should be.

A place that will have me coming back for more. We stopped by for a light meal so shared the bondas and the goat curry. Both were perfect, the goat curry had just the right amount of heat and the bondas were crispy on the outside and tasty potato inside. Can also recommend the gin and tonic with lemon and star anise. Lovely atmosphere, good for big groups or couples. Couples area is to one side so has a romantic vibe. Fresh flowers on the tables were a nice touch. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Good drinks menu - interesting cocktails, plenty of choices with beers and wines. Recommended.

We had our own selection from the menu after some helpful recommendations from the staff consisting of; seared scallops, prawns, charcoal squid, lamb cutlets, brocollini, and roti bread.We're so happy with everything we ordered and we personally provided our compliments to the chef to tell her how much we enjoyed the meal.Do not pass up the opportunity to visit Red Opium, it's one not to be missed!We'll be sure to visit again as soon as we can.

Sitting down to watch, listen, smell and taste so many dishes being cooked was amazing. The chef was friendly and cheerful and so knowledgeable in his craft. Cannot even begin to describe how amazing the food was and there was so many little courses that I couldn't keep up! Will definitely return.

Tried Neho Asian Tapas for the first time for dinner with a friend. Love the tapas style of eating. Started with the dumplings which were full of flavour and generous size. Next had the Karancini. SO GOOD! I really loved it - full of flavour with gooey cheese in the middle. We also had the Pork Belly salad. When you hear pork belly you just expect that it has the crackly skin,but it didn't have that so I probably would try something different next time. We decided to go all out and get the dessert tasting board. Oh man, so worth it. Everything was so delicious!!! Loved the banana doughnuts. Definitely coming back!

First time visiting this restaurant. I had second thoughts of visiting cos I was not sure what to expect, will they be rude and expect (demand) you to pay a minimum sum. But i decided to give it a try and I am glad I did!The staff were very warm, smiling and welcoming! They invited me to step in to have a look and help myself when I am ready. I must say i enjoyed their dishes, at my own pace and mixture of choices! This is not a typical restaurant serving buffet spread so I feel their variety is actually very decent. The place is clean, free seating wherever I like and anytime I feel like having more I can just join the queue. At no point in time I feel pressured about paying - I felt welcomed to enjoy the taste and ambience more than anything. I had a good time and decided to pay slightly more than the amount I seen in people's reviews online.Thumbs up for this concept (especially in modern times like now and the sustainability) and the kind people who kept this going on!!

This a a little gem. We had a very finicky eater in our group and the staff were extremely friendly, patient and accommodating. The mal the provided for her was delicious. All the meals were excellent and very reasonably priced. There is a bottle shop across the road, so easy for BYO. Recommend.
