We decided to treat ourselves to an evening out after a very long Christmas build-up with our families and received a very warm and friendly welcome at Rajpoot. Understandably, in a very deserted town centre, we were the only ones in, but that didn't mean we had any less of an experience. Service was polite, efficient and the food was authentic, tasty and well priced. We left feeling cared for/valued and very much welcome to come back again in the future, and on our next visit, it's very likely we will (plus others). Loved it.

We had a delivery under a friends recommendation to a nearby town. As there were 8 of us eating the order was quite substantial. We couldn't get though on the phone so ordered online and were advised that there was a 45 minute waiting time for delivery. As to be expected on a busy Saturday night. After an hour passed, i thought I would call the restaurant to see if there was a delay. I was told the delivery driver was right outside my door and to hang up and check. The delivery driver was not there, so I waited another 15 minutes to give them the benefit of the doubt.Still a no show, and now with 7 other hungry friends it was a little embarrassing! I called the Lopen Raj and was asked "What do you want me to do about it!" This took me back somewhat and I explained I had no issue with the time if they had just been honest from the beginning. He then muttered something to me in Indian - I have no clue what. I was then shouted at by the member of staff that the delivery driver was outside the door - I actually went to the door and there was a black and white cat. I did make it abundantly clear to them that the cat did not have said delivery! After 1 hour and 40 minutes the delivery showed up. The driver had only left after my second call and he said that they had forgotten my order and to be careful of it because I had complained! A sure fire way to put you off your meal.Anyway - hungry and still hoping that the meal would be as good as promised we opened all of our containers. My husband had a chicken tikka masala with 2 chunks of chicken breast! I am sure the Tesco Indian Meal for 2 has more chicken - this is not a compliment to the Lopen Raj. I had a vegetable Saag and I was expecting my vegetables to be cooked. They were raw! All in all the meal was cold, inedible and lacked value. I called to complain and the man on he other end of the phone was just rude - I explained to him about the wait and he offered me vouchers to come back to the value of £5! I never wanted to waste my money here again and after much argument managed to get a £20 refund. There was no apology and I was told that I was a silly women and should "Shut up!"I advised that I would put a review on trip adviser and was told, one review will not make a difference. All of our customers love us and they will keep coming here. Do you worst as it will not effect us!So, here is my trip adviser review. Should you wish to purchase a sub standard meal from people who have an issue with women. Be my guest...Dear customerwe alwayes valued your review and experience. sorry to hear that you have bad experience with us.please contact our restaurant and ask for Mark or Chef, then we can invistigate.

Thought I would try this Chinese as I still haven't found a good one within 10 miles of home, sadly I was disappointed and my search goes on.......Sweet and sour chicken was so vinegary it was not the edge of not being edible, the crispy beef was served dressing with essentially sweet syrup, it had no other taste or spices. Egg fried rice was good though. Oh well, there must be another Chinese to try somewhere

This restaurant does not look much from the outside but, go in, an it is really nicely laid out, clean and cosy. The Manager (David) was friendly and very helpful. The lamb tikka masala was the best I have ever had. . Because we had complimented the food, the Manager took us into the kitchen to thank the cooks. The kitchen was clean and very well laid out. I was impressed. This place is well worth a visit.

We came out for my 40th Birthday, we booked for 7:30, 25 of us, not sat together, took 1 half hours to take our order, 2 half hours for food to come out. Waitress was fantastic, really apologetic but manager was very rude, didn't care, few orders wrong, our fault according to him. No apology, really rude. Would not recommend to any one

The Bath House Hotel and Restaurant has a contemporary bar and a highly recommended restaurant serving innovative British cuisine with continental and Asian influences.
I rarely give five stars but, based on our experience on Monday, Bath House deserves it.Lovely staff, great service and good food - one of the best Beef Rendangs I've had in years and my mussels to start were also good. The MemSahib had very good scallops and a lovely chicken breast in a wild mushroom cream sauce. Okay wine list. So far a good four star experience - but anyone who chases after me half way down the street to return my phone (duh!) deserves an extra star IMHO.
