A city of natural beauty, charm, history and western hospitality, this state capital derived its name from Kit Carson, the legendary trapper, scout and explorer. A trip to the city is a living history lesson. One need only jump on the Kit Carson Trail downtown, which passes old mansions, courthouses, a depot and a brewery, to experience a taste of life in the Old West. Also downtown, the State Capitol, built in 1870, offers a look at the birth of Nevada as a state and Carson City as its capital. Other historic landmarks, cultural heritage centers and museums dot the landscape around town, but don't forget your clubs. The city is well-known for the Divine Nine, a group of top-rated area courses designed by pros such as Arnold Palmer, Johnny Miller and John Harbottle and set amid the magnificent Sierra Mountains. After a little golf, gambling or sightseeing, spend some down time at the Carson City Hot Springs. You will emerge feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for more exciting endeavors.

First time here - but absolutely, not the last! Most dinner entrees about $12 and plenty big. We were hungry, so ordered two entrees and an extra side of jasmine rice....took nearly one complete entrée home. Service friendly and quick. Very informal little place, but that being said, comfortable and clean. Really appreciate that you can dial your own spice level.

People probably bypass China Bistro because it doesn't have great street appeal. But ordering online to go will get you a GREAT Chinese dinner. The pot stickers were excellent. as usual; the shrimp with walnuts very good; and the moo shu chicken was also tasty.

Spending our morning looking to buy a Grand Cherokee Overland, our hunger pains we're getting the best of us,soChina East was just around the corner and drove into the parking lot,our lunch became around 1:45pm and the Daily Lunch Specials we're still honoring by 3:00pm, ordered Bock Choy Chicken with white steamed rice, low mein, comes with egg roll, choice of egg flower soup or Hot Sour Soup for two people including another entree was very reasonable, plus the extra bag of Fortune cookies at request,I went home with a full stomach, Fortune cookies, and a newJeep. Now that's a good day to eat out!

Parking was good. Lighting outside is average, inside sufficient. Property is clean. Reception was good. Menu typical. Service was good. Presentation good Food fresh, seasoned just ok with exception to the Chow Mein, that was good. Fried Rice was flat while the Kung Pao was without spice. Pricing was fair. Ambiance was simple, noise level low. Would try againNote this was on Cochise not Carson

This small establishment serves very good Cantonese food. The service is excellent and the portions generous. The egg flower soup is some of the very best. Atmosphere is typical for a small Chinese restaurant, but the food is definitely at a much higher level. Little chance that you will be disappointed here.

After reading the reviews commenting on terrible service, but good food, we elected to "take out". Ming's web site says "pickup only, no delivery." There is a sign on the door, however, that says "We Deliver". No matter. The pot stickers were very good; the moo shu chicken seemed a little heavy, and the cashew chicken was overly sweet. Average food, on average.

We went here for a day late Valentine dinner thinking it would not be busy. Boy were we wrong! Every table and every bar stool was busy! I would come here just for the mussels. Fabulous!! The sushi chefs were so busy that it took a while to get your order but it was worth the wait! Their salmon is very fresh. Probably my favorite raw fish this visit. I might try all you can eat for lunch time next time again as I think it was less busy!

Food is so good and fresh that I've eaten here twice in the last month. Lots of meal options to choose from, but of course the fresh rolls and the soups are where it's at. Definitely a must to eat at if you are feeling under the weather, the pho soup specials will take care of you.
