We happened to be nearby, so we went to Noble Vegetarian (it's vegan), but now that I've eaten there, I'd drive out of my just to go back.Despite the fact that it's in a run-down strip mall in nowhere's land, the service was welcoming and helpful, while the Chinese/Thai/Vietnamese food was plentiful and excellent. And there's so much on the menu to try!We were very happy there and look forward to returning!

This is a small family-run Thai restaurant in a very unprepossessing location in a Carmichael strip mall (kitty-corner from Home Depot on Madison and Manzanita). The food, however, is very well prepared with very fresh ingredients and is truly delicious. I've been here 3 times in the last month or so and ordered take-out twice as well. The Pad-See-Euw was very good, as was the Pad Thai and a Yellow Chicken Curry that was perhaps the best I've ever had. The star at our table was the Mango Thai Fried Rice, a seasonal special that was enough for four people and was scrumptious! All portions are quite generous and all 4 of us at one dinner took home doggy bags. Don't miss the Mango and Sticky Rice for dessert, either.

I finally tried this restaurant because it was convenient to where I live. The restaurant was well appointed. I wish I could say that about the food. The food was tasteless. The portions were very large but disappointing. We ordered Pot Stickers, Kung Pau Chicken, Mongolian Beef and Chow Fun, some of it was marked as spicy, it was not,.If it did have flavor even without the spice, we might have enjoyed it We had three full boxes to take home, which we did and I was able to doctor it up and then we were able to eat it. Would we go back, I don't think so!

Food incredibly good, varied, interestingly flavored and consistent--yet inexpensive. The soups are all wonderful, the broths all long cooked, not slapped together like Vietnamese chains that know Americans can't tell the difference. The sweet and sour fish are superb. No friends want to order it, but tasting it, go crazy, just love it. The fish pot and eggplant beef hot pot & appetizer crepe are real winners plus getting a side of Asian veggies for extra crunch & healthy boost for only $1+ a free drink are nice bonuses. If you are addicted to fast food, you probably can't/won't appreciate how good, real, natural this is. The place is totally unpretentious, decor unimportant yet a great neighborhood eatery with friendly and good service. Always recognize its value and unique, delicate flavors often after eating elsewhere. Bon appetite! Valarie C.

Solid Mongolian BBQ at a great price; seems to be more or less all you can eat for just $10 at lunch time on a Saturday. The veggies are great and the meat okay...they have lots of different options so it's easy to mix and match or find your meaty (or veggie) preference. Really Mongolian BBQ is about customizing your sauce; the Li's special sauce was good as was the Mongolian BBQ sauce. I was less enthused by the ginger and garlic sauces. They have a variety of oils you can add if you wish but what is particularly nice is that they cook does not use oil to keep things circulating on the BBQ grill...they pour water on it which keeps the food from becoming overly greasy. That's a big plus, I didn't have to walk out of this place with that greasy sluggish feeling that wipes me out for hours on end.

Excellent Chinese food, every dish I've eaten has always been very good. The portions are large and the service is wonderful. Eva which is the owner is very friendly and is always willing to please her customers. If you purchase over 25.00 of food, you receive a discount or a free app. Also, if you do not feel like going out, they deliver.Guys, this is a good fourth date restaurant, great food, but non romantic atmosphere. ââââââHALS Six Star Rating, Eva does a great job serving and her husband is a great chef!

As others have said, it is beautiful inside, service was awesome! We are not experts on Thai food as we have only had it a few times. We had a coconut milk, lime, mushroom soup; curry dish w/chicken & vegetables and a garlic rice dish with beef & vegetables. These dishes were recommended by another reviewer and/or our waitress. The restaurant was fairly full for a weeknight.

Had dinner for our first time at Shige Sushi. We started with a beer for me, hot green tea for my wife and son had water. Ordered the deep fried tofu; very good. For dinner my wife had a combo dinner; shioyaki Saba with tempura. She really enjoyed her dinner even though she complained about the many bones in the mackerel. I had the tonkatsu dinner and son had the chefs selection nigiri sashimi. Shige prepared an excellent selection for him - he really liked all of the fishes. My tonkatsu was good. This is a very good restaurants; I would say it may be the best Japanese owned Japanese restaurant in the city.Good food, excellent service and nice ambience. You should try it.

I often eat here for lunch. The food is always good and the lunch specials reasonably priced. I have many sushi options but choose to go to Shogun with family and friends, the sashimi is fresh and generously proportioned. The rolls are some of the best I have had. I highly recommend this place. Jimmy the owner is also personable and genuine.

We were stunned (positively)! First-timers here.. Surprised to find the place PACKED on a Wednesday evening!...We were able to get a table, but did so with some anxiety, expecting a long wait due to the crowd. Our Waitress was VERY accommodating as we explained we had pre-purchased movie tickets, and wondered if we should not pressure them to serve us in time..The food was quick and DELICIOUS!! And we REALLY were to blame for not guessing the timing would've been so tight (long story, lol). And, their pricing is VERY reasonable!!...We can only imagine how it will be on our ensuing visits (YES, for SURE!)!!
