Went here with 2 other women who have this as their usual Chinese place to eat. I was visiting and they wanted me to have a good experience. It was! they ordered a dinner for 3. The won ton soup was very good. A salad came after, that had lettuce, slices of chicken, ground peanuts and a light sweet/sour dressing. I could have eaten that for my dinner alone, it was so good. Then came sweet and sour pork, chicken and almonds, beef with onions and peppers, accompanied by chow mien noodles. All were on full plates and was so much that one of our companions took what was left home to her husband and 2 sons.The staff was very accommodating to my companion with a walker. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great Chinese dinner.

Furu -Sato is a full service Japanese restaurant and sushi bar. The interior decor has a traditional Japanese style and includes four âTatamiâ rooms that can be used for private parties.... This restaurant is located on Campbell Avenue across from Kirkwood Plaza.The menu offers fresh nigiri and various teriyaki, donburi, sukiyaki, tempura, udon and soba plus numerous Maki Sushi rolls.Most of what we have ordered has been very good and service has always been courteous and efficient.

OK, so first of all, the sushi and sashimi in this place is almost all good. I ordered the 18 piece sashimi menu, and some unagi sushi on the side and most of the fish was great. The unagi was also excellent but then the combination of the two was ... well, too much food. Not that that stopped me from eating everything :)The atmosphere, however, is a bit bad as far as I'm concerned. Yes, US restaurants are typically louder than European ones, but this one was a bit over the top; if you put the music (decidedly not Japanese music) full blast, it's no wonder people have almost to shout to talk to each other.All in all, very good sushi (huge sashimi portions actually) in a bit of a strange and unpleasant setting. But good food, good price... two out of three ain't bad, right?

The food is excellent, in fact, among the the best Thai food I've tried. The service was also great. The server was friendly and efficient and came back to fill water, etc often enough. The restaurant is in a converted home and so there are several dining rooms - at least three - one dining area in each room. The only downside is that we were seated in the back dining room and when I first entered, it smelled a bit musty. But I feel the food and service more than made up for that, and I will be sure to visit again.

The place was clean. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Drink orders taken and delivered soon after. Placed our order and approx 15mins later, the chef arrived. He was friendly. Was an experience for the kids. Food was nice enough. Enjoyed the time.

First impressions are important yes; first time here and the place is packed, only two tables are available and I only see two waitresses. Are first impressions indicative of your experience though? Not necessarily and this was a perfect example. Not only was the selection of food beyond what I expected, but the food itself was amazing! Service was great and didn't gave to wait long at all. I love that whenever I go out, I can see the kitchen which is usually the case in sushi bars but still appreciated it. I think I have found my new favorite sushi joint! Will definitely be coming back! Their bento lunch box; a great deal, a lot of food and fresh food.

Visiting daughter and her partner in Campbell; the four of yus wandered over to Tapsilog Bistro for a meal. WHAT A FIND! We didn't need an appetizer because the portions were quite large. Two ordered the Tapsilog (Steak and Eggs); daughter ordered the Chicken Adobosilog and I tried the Sisilog (twice cooked pork and egg). All were fantastic! Beautifully spiced and cooked, served with egg and rice. Recommend the Red Horse beer to accompany. Service was awesome as well. Hope to get back to this place next trip.

First, let me start out by saying I don't eat Sushi. So I ordered the Teryaki chicken and I was very impressed. The flavor and cut of chicken was great! The rest of my family ordered sushi and they really liked it. The restaurant is very busy and crowded. When we arrived around 8:15pm on a Friday night, the wait time was 40 minutes. Seats opened up on the bar, and we took them - which resulted in no wait time. Actually, sitting at the bar was very interesting, as we were able to see the wide variety of sushi dishes - and I must say - they looked beautiful! Initially, we had a difficult time finding our server, but when I mentioned to someone else that we were ready to order, the server returned and from that point on, was quite attentive. If you like sushi, I'd recommend you give this place a try.
