In reading the other reviews I will say you will always pay more in resort towns, you are paying extra for the convenience. That said it well exceeded our expectations. Food was excellent as was the service. Dining room was small but adequate. The take out service was steady and busy so locals liked it too. Portions were adequate, you will not leave hungry!We are here for another 5 days and we will be back. So far, best meal we had in Big Sky, hands down!

We stopped by in the middle of the afternoon between the lunch and dinner hour. The restaurant was closed. They serve lunch and dinner at specific times and close in between. I wouldn't call that customer friendly. 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon is not a time to be closed. Big Sky must not have the summer traffic yet to justify being open. Frustrating. As an FYI - we tried three more restaurants after this one and they were all closed!

When we walked in the restaurant and it was empty - we definitely had second thoughts about staying. We're glad we did. Food was outstanding and well priced and the waiter was a riot. Very knowledgeable about the food, Hawaii and great suggestions on drinks. Since we were the only diners most of the time - we had his full attention. Everything we ate we enjoyed.

Nice variety of Montana Spirits. Bartender was very knowledgeable. Behind the Bar is the Liquor Store / Tasting Room. This is very important if you want to purchase liquor on a Sunday. No one else sells Sunday. They gave us a nice tasting of several Montana liquors, it was educational and fun.
