Discover Restaurants offering the best Asian food in Camarillo, California, United States. Camarillo (/ˌkæməˈriːoʊ/ KAM-ə-REE-oh) is a city in Ventura County in the U.S. state of California. The population was 65,201 at the 2010 census, up from 57,084 at the 2000 census. The Ventura Freeway (U.S. Route 101) is the city's primary thoroughfare. We did not visit the restaurant - review is for $100 delivery order. So...In the mood for Chinese food at home, we decided to give this place a whirl. YUM YUM YUM!!!We ordered black pepper chicken, Kung pao chicken, broccoli beef, string beans sautéed and a few other items but the aforementioned were absolutely delicious, best ever. A little elderly Chinese man delivered the food quickly. We placed our order using an iPhone app since that what they use. It really was so simple and so liberating to know that I can get this quality delivered. There was a delivery charge of $4 but totally worth it.
A previous reviewer was correct to say that Cagami offers some nice sushi, but I can't eat the ramen. Each ramen dish is made with the same pork base that is very greasy. I'm a ramen lover and I tried this place more than once because I really wanted to like it, but I just can't enjoy it. I hope they will expand their menu just a little and offer a lighter ramen dish.

Sushi is tricky. But here there is no trick. They are great. Every time it was fresh, tasty sushi creations. The service is always attentive and the prices are very affordable. They have happy hour specials which makes for an even better time for your wallet. Sushi Planet has other locations and they are all better than very good 8 out of 10. The only reason it's not a 10 is because the creations aren't as exciting, varied and plentiful as a "10" restaurant but you also aren't paying "10" prices.

I have eaten in many Thai Restaurants across the country and this restaurant, although claiming all freshly prepared food was a bit disappoint. The Pad Thai looked like it had been prepared earlier in the day. The chicken skewers and the vegetable rolls were flavorful. Since I only ate there once, I'm not sure I'll go back for seconds. The staff were friendly but a bit pushy as to what we should order. The waitress was very good with the children but insisted they have the fried rice. My grandchildren didn't like that type of rice. These are just suggestions for the restaurant owner to be careful not to assume we no nothing about Thai food.

Four of us had dinner here and all had a good time. We ordered a big selection of sushi as well as some salads and other dishes. Sushi and other dishes were great - very fresh. Service was fast and friendly. Only negative item to note, and this is personal, is some of the sushi had too much in the way of added 'toppings' which detracted from the subtle taste of the sushi.

This restaurant knows what they are doing! My father-in-law lives in Ojai and his favorite Chinese restaurant is Chester's. Unfortunately he and his wife no longer drive and they rarely get to Camarillo. So we decided to have his 90th birthday party at Chester's.The owner, Keith, was easy to work with. We decided to host a lunch as it allowed us to keep the cost down, plus the restaurant was able to stay open since we didn't have enough people to take over the entire restaurant. The price we were quoted was reasonable, as we didn't have to pay for a banquet hall, nor did we have to decorate as Chesters is tastefully decorated. We ordered 8 dishes: kung pao chicken, orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, stir fried rice, pepper beef, pork chow mein, and mixed vegetables for 75 people. They brought egg rolls and crispy noodles as well. We asked for no onions or MSG. We had 8 large tables and the food was served on the lazy susan in the center of the table. They started off bringing a few dishes at a time to each table. The food was hot and fresh. People began piling their plates with food, not realizing there were more dishes to come. And everyone just kept eating, as the food was too good to turn down. We were all so full, and there was so much food left over. Our table of 10 had 8 boxes of left overs! The regular customers were so gracious, and two women were so touched by the out pouring of love from our group they hugged the Birthday boy, and enjoyed cake with us. It was a truly special day, and Chesters did a superb job in providing hot and tasty food for 75 people.

One of my favorite places to get Thai food. The restaurant is small but the staff is great and the food is delicious. I always get the red curry with chicken. Be careful of spice levels!! I request mild and then add in the peppers on my own. Highly recommend this place.

We are tucked away in the corner of the shopping center. Located next door to Prudential Realty.
Let me start off by saying I am not a vegan, but several of my friends are, so we're always looking for vegan-friendly restaurants in Ventura County. This one has great vegetarian/vegan selections as well as other great Vietnamese and Asian-inspired dishes. Their vegan ham is very good for fake meat! Also the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Some of the dishes may be a little "adventurous" for people who are not too familiar with Vietnamese cuisine (myself included) but overall it's a hidden gem in an unassuming strip mall in Camarillo.
