Found this restaurant while searching online for a family restaurant a few months ago. It was amazing! Tons of great choices, chicken, ham, fish, turkey, beef and chicken noodles, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, corn and much more. We have been several times since. Most recently we drove over (1 hr +) for Easter dinner but this time a small disappointment and a huge concern. Disappointment was no strawberry pie (they ran out with 5 hours of service remaining after advertising strawberry pie all weekend long). Very Concerning was the fact that they apparently allow patrons to bring in handguns. Guy in front of me had a handgun tucked in the back of his pants clearly in plain view and not holstered. No signs of representing any kind of law enforcement (quite to the contrary). Now there is no reason whatsoever to bring a weapon to dinner at Robs, holstered or otherwise! We felt very uneasy with his presence and felt he should have been asked to leave or leave his weapon elsewhere. Robs was very crowded since it was Easter Sunday, would have been very easy for someone to remove that weapon while he was in line ....something to think about!! We were very concerned and very disappointed that this was allowed. We brought guests including children for Easter dinner .. they were upset as well.I am hopeful that a representative from Robâs will respond on here and provide an explanation for allowing this situation. Should the policy remain to allow weapons in the dining area.. .we will not be returning.

Donât be put off by the tattoo parlor next door... this little gem of a restaurant has wonderful food. We recently had orange chicken but instead of a highly breaded entree, the unbreaded chicken was cubed, plentiful and in a delightful lightly spiced sauce. This is one of two Chinese restaurants in Englewood we highly recommend... be sure to try it!!

It's hard to know where to start on this review. Pulled in and parked on side of building and could see all sorts of junk piled by the back door. Entered and after being seated, scanned the room to see dirty walls, dirty curtains, dirty windows - in fact - a broken window glass. Our friend had suggested this place, so we stayed. We ordered 3 lunch entrees. The cashew chicken was covered in a mystery juice with honey-roasted cashews sprinkled on top, not cooked with the dish. Sesame chicken was left to deep fry way, way too long, so the batter was beyond crispy and hard to chew, it was accompanied by ice cold fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken was edible; but, tasted like it had been reheated (gosh, I hope it wasn't somebody's leftovers?). None of us ate more than half the meal. The service was horrendous ... slow as can be and, in fact, one of us had to lean into the cooking area to ask for silverware for all 3 of us. I used their restroom and the door knob was crusted with who knows what - YUCK! - then, when we were ready to check out, there was no one at the counter and again, we had to hail the cook to get a cashier. There is a much better alternative for Chinese food in Englewood and it's only 1/2 mile from this pitiful, dirty, substandard excuse of a restaurant.
