This restaurant is near an apartment we just moved to, and as we like Thai food it was an obvious choice. Judging from the few places to sit inside, most of their business is take-away. You can see the cook prepare everything and also see all the food is fresh. We ordered a mixed entrée to share (A$10) which included fish cake, chicken wings, spring rolls and a curry puff with chilli sauce. These were tasty and seemed good value compared to some so-called tapas restaurants not too far away. For mains I had Crying Tiger (A$17, fried beef in spicy sauce) and my partner a green chicken curry, to which we shared a small Jasmine rice. These were really good, in particular the Crying Tiger was better than a nearby competitor we tried a few days later. We noticed they were selling bags of prawn crackers to nearly every take-away customer so we departed with one of these and enjoyed them for days as snacks. We will definitely go back to this restaurant and it proves appearances can be deceiving.

Periyar is a delight to every epicurean looking to enjoy the taste of India! It is an opportunity to go on a gastronomic tour and experience a mélange of beautiful flavors & spices. Attentive staff and elegant surroundings make Periyar the essence of fine
We were served by two willing but sadly inexperienced waiters who were difficult to understand and who did not take the orders properly. Mixed entrée for 4 involving dips / chutney supplied barely enough papadums for one and when extra were requested, these were charged on the bill. Stingy.Meals were good and presented nicely.Conversation was very difficult as the room is a concrete box with few soft wall decorations to reduce the noise of other patrons.

Monkey King Thai locates in 4 locations: Lindfield, Newport, Narrabeen and Stockland Balgowlah. We are your local Thai kitchen, offering authentic Thai street food and a genuine experience.
Went in for the all you can eat deal we saw on social media, so disappointed meal sizes were so small, very bland and unacceptable for Thai food. Went onto trip advisor and read reviews all positive reviews were all from 1 post people( very questionable). Beware of the sales pitch and bogus reviews.

We were looking for a quick, easy meal and were surprised by the high quality of the food and great friendly service. Best Thai food I have had for a while. I would definitely go back if it wasn't so far from home

This would be truly one of my top five Sydney restaurants. I grew up in Manly so I am always heading over to the Northern Beaches and this restaurant ALWAYS delivers! I highly recommend sharing some dishes with friends if you are looking for interesting Thai food with a twist and it's BYO too.

This is the most popular Japanese restaurant in the Manly region for a very good reason, the food. Yes you have to book in advance, and only be in the restaurant for an hour and a half (though not sure how strict they are on that, I guess it all depends on how quick they are to serve), and the restaurant is quite small and squashy, BUT the food is very good and reasonably priced, and BYO wine. Highly recommend if you like Japanese food.Thankyou very much! Normally itâs only one hour and half, but if you book for 7:30 or later, you can stay longer âºï¸ See you soon

This Thai restaurant was in a laneway of Manly Corso and had lunches from around $8.50.I had the drunken basil chicken noodles ($10) and my wife had the basil prawn stir fry ($12) We also ordered some takeaway for the next day.The meals were extremely tasty and were a great cheap lunch. Luncj options are more limited than the dinner selections.Great open kitchen with the fresh food sliced and available to view in the glass window.A highly recommended thai restaurant.
