This restaurant has no great atmosphere but it has a wonderful menu with a variety of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. Food is delicious, generously proportioned and reasonably priced. Saturday lunchtime was busy and there were clearly numerous "regulars" among the clientele as well as walk-ins. it appeared that they also do a good take-out business. Minh-Anh is well situated in the charming and booming Gordon Square area on the west side, although their well established presence here preceded the boom. Good parking on the street as well as to the side and behind the building. There is a nice Asian food market just next door so patrons can kill two birds with one stone - have a great meal and stock up on Asian food staples and condiments. Service is not really rapid-fire but it some ways that goes with the homey, casual feel of the place.

I think those living in Northeast Ohio already know that Ginko is truly several grades above otherwise very good/excellent sushi bars. The sushi and preparation at Ginko is exceptional. World travelers will appreciate how this meal is as great as any other superb sushi restaurant. The fish is brought in daily from different purveyors around the world. I prefer ordering the chefs choice meals (either the Omakase Tasting or Otsukuri Omskase). Last night we tried the scallops served on Pringleâs (we ate them before I could snap a picture). The whole mackerel is wonderful if you have company to share. If your budget allows, ask your waiter or waitress about the special fish choices not on the menu. All the wait staff know the menu and can be very helpful. The super fatty tuna is worth trying, even if it is only one piece. The restaurant is located below ground level. The dynamic small space is highlighted by a very colorful blown red glass wall (and in a cellphone signal free building). There is bar seating for about 20, and 3 tables that seat 4, so reservations are required. I have eaten sushi in at least 30 cities including NY, LA, Chicago, Honolulu, Las Vegas and SF. This is the best.

Was in town on business and my colleagues never had pierogies before. We asked around and the locals said this is the place to go for fresh, authentic pierogies. The place is small and homey...a bit kitchy. My colleagues ordered various types of pierogies and said they were good. I wanted to try "authentic" kielbasa and sauerkraut. Mistake. The kielbasa was ok. The sauerkraut had a sweet note...I like my sauerkraut to be, well, sour. It came with mashed potatoes, which were instant. There were also canned green beans on the side. It very much reminded me of a school lunch rather than a homemade Polish meal. It just wasn't my thing, but the place was full and at least 3 groups tried to come in but there was no where to sit. Obviously, it's a hit with others.

I enjoyed an incredibly wonderful dinner here from start to finish. First, the menu is full of tempting, fabulous options. I started with a salad with sautéed wild mushrooms...a huge serving and simply delicious. Went on to the bouillabaisse...another generous portion, lots of fresh fish and seafood, expertly prepared. Finished with a spectacular chocolate dessert...perfect. Also enjoyed a few seasonal pear cocktails along the way. The bread was great, the service was excellent, and the restaurant is lovely. A fantastic experience all the way around.

We took our nieces here for lunch and it was PACKED! We had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table! The food was really good! Our nieces weren't adventurous enough to actually try sushi but they had a huge portion of rice, one with steak and one with shrimp. The sushi menu is HUGE, lots of options which made it extremely hard to make a decision! The prices were really reasonable!! The service was ok decent, it took a long time once we got a table but they were pretty busy and the food totally made up for it!We don't live here but when we do come back, we will certainly stop in again!!

The good: The restaurant appearance is nice. The bar service is good and there is ample parking. Our family choose the hot pot and sushi because we wanted different things. The hot pot thing is confusing to start with.... Our server spoke very little English and was unable to explain the menu or much of anything to us. The sushi was bland. There is a "waste fee" if you don't eat all of the food brought to you. They advertise the place as an all you can eat. So if you don't like something you are expected to eat it or pay a penalty for not eating it. We didn't receive drink refills, the service was just bad. I don't think we'll go back here.

We went to Seoul Garden, not really knowing what to expect. We entered Seoul Garden and the friendly waitress offered us teas. After we made our order, were we surprised to have the waitress serve us 9 appetizers! All were very good! The waitress explained that this is Korean tradition and what a great tradition it is!! I can't remember all the appetizers, but one was an Oriental noodles, one was a nicely spiced potato salad, one was a delicious kelp, one was a zucchini dish, and some others. Of course, one of the appetizers was the all-Korean appetizer, kim shee! It was a bit spicy but tasty. We also received some egg souffle which was also very good! We had the spicy chicken and the beef soup as our main dish - which were very tasty. We had to take some of the main dish home because we couldn't resist the appetizers. So come with a healthy appetite because Seoul Garden is a marathon! I have to say - the ambiance there isn't the greatest, but believe me - the multi-appetizers really make up for it!
