We went to dinner last night and the restaurant was not full. After being seated for 5/8 minutes a manager asks if i was helped. No was my reply..She very helpfully took drinks and starter order. Still no sign of our waitress though. Our waitress eventually arrives with drink does not introduce herself or wear a name badge. My partner then joins me and he sits a good few minutes before he attracted the attention of a manager to help take his drink order. He then summons another waitress to help us.In the interim a few waitresses are very merrily having a conversation in the front. My point is restaurant was NOT full to capacity and service was pathetic. No one checked if meal was ok ? Are You guys alright?Need anything else?Scary to think how they would cope during peak seasons.Dear SharonN123, Thank you for rating John Dory's. Small Chinese family style Cantonese cooking. The Fried rice and deep freid prawns are quite good and price is so reasonable. This is not high end cooking but owner is very honest and deserve decent biz....

I thought the food here was well-prepared and very authentic. The tempura were excellent as were the edamame. Definitely would go back for excellent and pricey fare.

Stumbled upon this restaurant whilst in search of some good sushi. We had an absolutely fantastic experience! The sushi was great and the service was excellent. We were provided with advice on our selection and encouraged to try the Green Mango signature sushi which did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

We are fasting for Navaratri so Indian was the perfect choice. Thankfully we got a table even without a prior booking - and clearly Maliâs is a popular choice on a Friday night - as the restaurant quickly filled up. There were lots of vegetarian options and we opted for the Manchurian mushrooms and masala papads to start. Mains were masala dosa - massive dosa with a very watery, small serving of potato curry, dhall makhani - average and paneer Tikka masala with garlic naans and raita. Service was very good.

We decided to go for lunch. Richard and Petro had the salt and pepper calamari salad basket. They said it was delicious. I opted for a noodle dish which was mouth watering good. Stu had the chicken skewer board. Magnificent. Service always great. Great vibe and great food priced at R60 a person. Will be back.

Recently Goodlife Foundation Executives had a business lunch at this beautiful restaurant. Our experience as we entered the restaurant was absolutely overwhelming with neatly clad waiters welcoming us with so much of discipline and excitement. Melodious eastern music played in the background. We were seated and helped almost immediately. There was a huge selection of mouth watering meals to choose from. Upon placing our order the well trained staff went on overdrive and within a short while our freshly cooked meals were meticulously served as per our order. We immediately tucked in and was not disappointed. All the meals were well prepared and very delicious. The dessert was equally of high quality and very tasty. Our overall experience was impeccable and impressive. Definitely a huge 10 from all of us for excellent service delivery. We will definitely tell all our family and friends about this authentic restaurant. Thank You
