For what this place is it is worth a "Very Good" rating. Prices are very inexpensive, they deliver, have a drive through, and are of course "quick." If I recall correctly they popped up around 1998, they wouldn't still be around if they didn't have decent good and fair prices to go along with it.

After a hard day of moving we went to Easy Buffet on my sonâs recommendation. The restaurant was clean, we were seated quickly and drink orders taken. Itâs a buffet Asian restaurant with a large selection of different Asian dishes to include made to order Mongolian barbecue, sushi, fresh seafood dishes, fried dishes etc. The food was hot and tasted good. Recommend you give this restaurant a go.

Curry on the buffet line much inproved today! Owners seemed interested in keeping a good meat ration to sauce this week. The last three weeks in a row, I would have advised getting to the the buffet towards the start of the buffet hours or not coming at all, as you would get curry that was mainly sauce because the guests had picked most of the meat out of it.On the other hand, I came at the start of the last hour and now my orignal advice about not coming if you miss the start seems to apply again with the non-meat buffet items in chafing dishes... once out there may not be a refill. For example today, I went expecting the usual vegetable samosas (love 'em), which have been there the previous (3) weeks I went. Instead they served Pakora (fried vegetables) in that spot and there were only two small pieces left when I arrived. I grabbed those when I started and there was never a refill. Also keep in mind that one order of Papadum, which the menu lists as (2) pcs, means one piece broken in half... at least it does this week. I believe I may have gotten (2) whole Papadums last week. Today I got (3) half pieces and was charged for a double order. I questioned that since I asked for "an order of Papadum" and they reduces my bill for that item down to the expected $1 (close enough, menu lists it as $0.95).I would say consistency is key to restaurant survival. My favorite Chinese place has been in business three generations by not changing anything... I believe this restaurant needs to first work on getting everything right, then remain consistent.Still, good food and as mentioned by others, the only game in town for Indian.

I have eaten at Bamboo Valley Buffet 3 times this year for lunch and have had a good experience every time. They have a decent selection of foods and the sushi is terrific. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The price is that of what you would pay at just about any other buffet.

It's been awhile since we were in town. Visiting Sala Thai is always a must for us because it used to be one of our go-to lunch places, back when we lived in the area.Although we aren't as picky as some about décor, or the lousy parking area, we did notice that the servers can be rather apathetic. When ordering, I requested a water - which was never served ...until I reminded the waitress, and I was almost finished. The busy lunch-rush can tend to cause forgetfulness. It's obvious there are regular customers, and perhaps their service is a bit more attentive. However, it's our recommendation that some re-training on customer service would be beneficial. A friendly greeting and a sincere farewell are make-or-break bookends on a dining experience.About the food: it's authentic Thai. There aren't high-end dishes, and the meals aren't served with fancy garnishments. But the food is good. Considering the restaurant sits in the heart of an average neighborhood (in Southern Illinois), Sala Thai's food may even be considered exotic, by locals who've never traveled abroad.Sala seems to be consistent on flavor and levels of spiciness. If you ask for Thai Hot -- they will ensure you enjoy the best, fiery food ever. Or if your tastebuds are tamer, you can always ask for very little spice. We're happy Belleville has sustained Sala Thai's business for so many years! Mom & Pop restaurants have certainly faded away, while corporate giants have crowded into most of suburbia. Sala Thai is tried and true -- we hope it's around for many more years! Our biggest complaint: harmful chemical sprays in the bathroom(s). They're unhealthy and dangerous. Choosing non-synthetic cleaners and air fresheners would be a much better option. We're just glad the servers don't use sprayed cleaning products on the dining tables!

Nice family shop with limited tables but great sushi at a very reasonable price. Pad thai was hit and miss, but sushi has always been excellent. Especially like the lunch special of buy two get the third free. Lots of vegetarian options for my veggie daughter, who also loves this little place.

This place has chinese & vietnamese food. The menu is massive. If you are craving something they probably make it. The food is flavorful.I drop one star because if you eat in the decor is dated. Really dated. It needs an overhaul.Additionally, my friend ordered lo mein on a sunday, maybe it was bc they ran out of something but the noodles were fettuccine noodles, like the ones you use for alfredo. It was super odd. Im hoping that was a fluke.
