Summer rolls were absolutely fantastic but, the pho was so highly spiced I couldn't eat it. Taste was closer to spicy Thai than Vietnamese. Dining room was clean and tidy but staff was a bit argumentative when I ordered nothing spicy and later needed to send back the soup. If you want it the house way, youâll be very satisfied however, if you need to alter the preparation for any reason (ingredient or spice intolerance) you may be disappointedâ¦

I had high hopes for this place, in fact planned a day around shopping here (very neat grocery store where nearly everything is exotic and imported - tons of Asian and Latino foods, huge fruit selection - I'd list this place in "Things to do" if TripAdvisor considered grocery shopping a "thing to do" - they don't. The meat department has a stand selling Vietnamese sandwiches (banh mi) prepared fresh - but that's the problem. The meat was just laying out on the counter, at room temp. We tried two varieties - one of them was microwaved into oblivion - literally five minutes - and still came out at room temp. The other one wasn't miked at all. Both were pretty gross. We tried to enjoy them, but the meat just wasn't good. The pork looked undercooked too. I won't be trying their sandwiches again.

Fresh, generous and extremely tasty sushi! Prices are very reasonable too! Had a nice variety of rolls and specials. One of my favorites was the Mango & Smoked Salmon but there were others that made the decision difficult. It was nice to be able to stay on the West Bank for quality sushi without having to go across the river to New Orleans proper.

A party of eight enjoyed outstanding Vietnamese cuisine! The appetizer rolls were exemplary, and the Pho was fantastic - the broth was well seasoned and the meat was top quality. There was a painting of the USN LST that brought the family out of Vietnam when the South fell to the North: it was well appreciated by all of my shipmates who had all served in Vietnamese waters.

I ate on the fine dining side for lunch. It is pretty cool since the servers push carts around and you can decide if you want what's being served. The food is pretty good with an authentic feel to it. You'll have to go once to see what you do and don't like but the majority of the dishes I tried, I really enjoyed. Just be careful as you're eyes don't get bigger than your stomach because once you buy it, it's yours. Overall, its a good date place to take someone.

Husband & I stopped for early dinner. Ordered fried dumplings, egg rolls, triple delight and chicken fried rice. Really disappointed. Dumplings fried nice on outside, but no flavor inside. Same with egg rolls, no crispy veggies inside or flavor. The triple delight wasn't. Pork over cooked, tiny shrimp under cooked. Sauce had absolutely no flavor. Even putting soy sauce on it didn't help. It was like the cook was afraid to season anything. Will say the fried rice wasn't too bad and the chicken was cooked properly. Yes, they give huge portions, but whats the point. Saw a lot of carry out while we ate, so someone likes it.

Take a look at the menu on the chalkboard before getting in line. The Mac and Cheese comes highly recommended, delicious and not what you might expect, with long noodles and and they give you enough to feed three people (and that was the small size). We ordered the fried chicken, which takes an extra 25 minutes to make, and again, enough to feed at least two people (three if you also get the mac and cheese.) But it was the best fried chicken we have ever had. The atmosphere is kind of cafeteria like, though they do have a full bar. If you have the time and the hunger, this place has a great local reputation for a reason.

When we want Japanese food we usually come here. The food is good if not totally Japanese,(I lived in Japan for 2 years and know the real deal) My issue really is that I found an 18% gratuity already added to my bill. I found this unusual for a party of 2. So, before you add a tip, make sure they haven't added it already.
