Was not impressed with the hibachi at all. If you want rice off the grill itâs a $2 up charge so we were brought a tiny bowl of white rice because we were not upgrading to fried rice which is normally included. The vegetables that came with our meal was onions, mushrooms , and a few pieces of zucchini, oh I did I mention onions? Ha thatâs basically the only thing on my plate. The cheapest options ever. sauces were gross- didnât have yum yum sauce. Waste of $60.

Our new favorite high end Cantonese in Houston when not in Chinatown. Posh setting valet parking macaroons at the front you know this is not Bellaire. The service is spot on although we have noticed a high turnover always someone new. Well trained and polite. The food service is super efficient team approach. Super hot and fresh dim sum handmade in their open kitchen. We love the venison puffs, sticky rice and the XLB. All way above average and very clean tasting. Pro tip: nice lunch menu.

Welcome to Grace's! This restaurant is dedicated to my late grandmother, Grace Mandola. My grandmother was a strong, amazing woman who worked well into her nineties. She was also a lady who lived for her family. Grace was the best cook that I have ever kn

Had various soups, curry dishes, and the beef/steak (âTiger Cryâ) dish was a must try (with the lime juice sauce), and a few other things. Very good Thai food, nicely seasoned, and they followed instructions regarding the level of heat/spiciness. Will definitely take out from here again, on another trip to Houston.

The Wagyu Shumai were good but the delicate flavor of wagyu was not apparent in the shumai. Basically overpriced shumai and not extraordinary in any way. The Kamasu, seared Japanese red barracuda, was one of the best types of sushi weâve ever tried. Hiramasa, yellow tail tuna, was delicious and fresh. Tropical Spicy Tuna Roll and the Rising Sun Roll were both creative and good, but not as good as the sushi. Service: Service was bad. Our waiter was overwhelmed and slow. And it took forever to get the check and pay.Ambiance: energetic and chicOverall cleanliness: above averageBathroom cleanliness: above average

Came here for a business lunch and was very happy with the choice. The restaurant is a little pricy, but the lunch menu definitely has some good deals. I ordered the set lunch menu with yellowtail to start and a filet of salmon as the second plate. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I especially loved the interesting flavors of the yellowtail paired with its sauce.

I was in Houston for business and didn't feel like driving to dinner, so found this place -- Japanese cuisine sounded amazing after a few nights of TexMex -- and it was within walking distance from my hotel. It was packed on a Wednesday night - even the bar was very busy. My colleagues and I were seated promptly and our waitress (I can't remember her name) was friendly, funny and was very knowledgable about the menu. My first reaction was sushi because the fish at the bar looked fresh and incredible, but our waitress recommended the sea bass which was the BEST I've ever had. Great selection of saki's as well. Don't be put off that it's in a strip mall - you won't regret it.

Came here based on a recommendation and hearing about their Thai hot!We came by for a late Saturday lunch, but despite the odd hour, ended up waiting for about 20-25 minutes. The restaurant seems to have been recently refurbished, with a good crowd capacity (small and large groups). The interior is really artistic, with a lot of wood work and thoughtful cultural touches. It is a little dim in there, as there isn't a lot of natural light streaming in. The service was great, no complaints. In terms of food, we went for the following:1. Appetizer: Thai Gourmet Crispy Rice2. Mains: Penang beef and Kuay Tiew Kua Gai (both medium spicy)The Thai gourmet crispy rice was a very interesting appetizer. The crispy rice is basically puffed rice stuck together (kind of like rice krispies?) and the dipping is this yellow dish composed of ground chicken, minced garlic, and red onions in coconut milk. I think it's a bit of an acquired taste... but definitely interesting. So if you want to try something new, I'd recommend this, but I won't be getting this again. The Penang beef was super yummy with plain steamed rice. I loved it. But if you have a very low spicy tolerance, medium would be too much of a kick for you, if you like spicy, I think this is a happy medium, and if you want to break out in a sweat, I'd imagine the Hot would tick that criteria. I've heard scary things about Thai hot! The Kuay Tiew Kua Gai which is basically flat rice noodles with chicken, calamari, eggs, green onions & napa, topped with brown garlic was delicious! Highly recommended. Price: very reasonable. The above with 20% tip was about 40 dollars. Would I go back? Yes!

We visited as a family for early dinner on Sunday evening. The chef must have been out, because the food was not quite up to par: the summer rolls were rough: the vegetables were cut in large pieces and the rice paper was think and chewy. The trout was excellent, as was the duck, although this latter was not spicy at all, despite the description in the menu. The bok choy side tasted old, as if it had been prepared 1-2 days earlier and reheated. The Pepper Tuna steak was quite good, and pasta portions for the kids, generous and tasty. The veal scallopini was awful: hard, dry and chewy! Service was willing, tried to be helpful, but the kitchen was not cooperating. Individual plates came out at different times; there was a 15 minute gap between some desserts and others. This could be a wonderful restaurant if the kitchen was consistent and the service better trained.
