We met with an old friend for dinner at Peppermint Thai. It makes me feel churlish to quibble, because we usually choose restaurants for quiet over food, and this place, even when full, is QUIET. Also, the dining room is attractive, and the staff are wonderful. But: we'd have done better to ask for a table against he wall where there are cushioned benches. In the middle of the dining area, the chairs are extremely unforgiving, flat wood...very uncomfortable. And the dishes we ordered were uneven. The Brazzini was the best. My Gai Tom Khar was flat (no Galanga spice/heat). The Massaman chicken curry tasted fine, but the chicken was an odd consistency. And so forth...over all, though, we had a totally successful social evening, and the food was merely a support.

Been going here since before they moved to this location. Still good food and everything prepared well. Shrimp tender, lo mein tasty, Mongolian beef excellent. The pork fried rice could have had more flavor but acceptable. Decent selection of wine, too. Service was excellent.

P.F. Chang's is a restaurant concept that honors the 2,000-year-old Asian tradition of wok cooking and believes in making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. With a Farm to Wok food philosophy at its core, P.F. Chang's chefs hand-roll dim sum
Tuesday evening at 7PM, we walked right in a was seated. Waitress stopped by our table in about 3-4 minutes. Ordered water with lemon, water came with no lemon. We were able to get an appetizer order in quickly. Lettuce wraps were good as they usually are. Very fresh crunchy lettuce. Crab Won-tons were just OK. Dragon sushi roll had no flavor. They put the meat on top and it just falls off. Wish they would roll it in.Sweet and Sour chicken entree was pretty good. Chicken Caesar salad had hardly any chicken and was loaded with won-tons or whatever they were trying to disguise as more chicken. Our waitress was hardly seen and she was not that attentive. Sushi came with no chopsticks and she walked away so fast we had to flag her down.Experience was just OK. No real reason to back as Pinecrest development recently opened up nearby and there are 12 new restaurants there to try.

I was traveling on business and my husband ate here one night for dinner as it was close to our hotel. The hibachi shrimp and scallops was very good and the vegetables were cooked just right. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. There was no crowd so the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant for a relaxing dinner after a long day at work.

As a resident of LA and Houston with large Vietnamese communities in each I was skeptical of a Cleveland pho restaurant, but I neednât have been. This place delivers excellent pho, bun thit, papaya salad and spring rolls. For me those are the essentials and they were all great. The place is stuck on the remote end of a strip mall. It was packed when I was there so the word must be out.

This place had some rolls and other specialties that I had never seen before; they were excellent. Check out the premium maki.Everything that we had--including the drinks--was excellent, and there was plenty of it.The downsides: service was super slow. We were on the sushi side as opposed to the hibachi side of the restaurant and there were only a few tables taken. It took probably 15 minutes for edamame to arrive. They were out of the fatty tuna--bummer. Finally, the decor is supposed to be calming, but the noise level was pretty high. I don't mean the patrons either. All throughout dinner we kept hearing "in!" "out!" Isn't there a system that would prevent all this in what otherwise does not look like a short-order restaurant?I would try this again since the sushi was really great.
As if the culinary world was out of ideas, we have another restaurant along the lines of Piada, Chipotle, and you name the build-your-own-meal place. The food was decent and the portions large enough. My biggest beef was how long it took to get through the line. A pretty long wait that wasn't necessarily worth it. Additionally, this location is relatively small so it may be difficult to find a seat. In the summer, there is outdoor seating so that will make it easier.

My family spent a weekend in Solon for a family wedding, and we found the Hunan of Solon restaurant by accident. It was just a city block from our hotel, but the little strip mall that it is located in looks sad and depressed. We weren't quite sure if we wanted to chance eating here, but then we realized that even though Hunan's was the only open store in the whole row, every parking space in the entire lot was full. The place was packed! The dining area is clean and has a calming decor. We ordered Massaman Curry and a spicy chicken dish. The curry was lighter then we were used too, with a delicate, fragrant sauce. It was delicious, and full of fresh vegetables. The chicken dish was a spicy taste treat. We liked our food so much, we returned here the next day and ate another meal! I had the same chicken dish, while my mother had steamed shrimp and vegetables. She commented that the food was a little salty, but she liked how well-kept the place looked.Just as an added bonus - this place had a quirky staff with lots of personality. Outside the kitchen, the servers are all friendly and smiles, but when they walked back into the (semi) open kitchen, diners could hear yelling and banging and the occasional argument. It made the place feel especially authentic for some reason, and I wish we lived closer so that we could eat here again.

Japanese cuisine is easily one of the healthiest on Earth, with its concentration on fresh fish, seafood, meats, vegetables and rice. The zesty sauces and delicate flavors of fresh foods compliment each other beautifully, and the methods of presentation t

The first time there it was a little confusing on how and what to order. But grab a menu, look it over walk up to the counter and place your order. The people behind the counter are very helpful and patiet.
