Visited here for second time since it opened. Opted for the cheese toastie! You wont be disappointed it's a must! . We had an iced latte too which wasnt great if I'm honest , the cup wasnt full either!The atmosphere is pleasant and its always busy sometimes hard to get a seat which is obviously a good sign. Sounds weird but I prefer the closed kitchen at the burford cafe as the carterton one is an open plan kitchen which is exposed and you come out smelling really strong of cooked food , I know it sounds fussy just personal preference. Wow I ordered classic butter chicken, the dish had a great amount of chicken and twice the sauce most takeaways include perfect for dipping my naan. The mushroom rice was lovely too. Iâm just gutted that itâs only just opened and I move in a few weeks

Had a meal at the spice lounge on our recent trip to Burford and we were not disappointed.The restaurant was extremely clean, a great welcome and efficient friendly service. The meal was well presented, tasty and not either too slow or too rushed, the drinks were good and we had a jug of water for the table that arrived almost as soon as we sat down.The menu was not too big although the variety on offer more than adequate and the prices about average for the area, all in all a great meal and we would surely visit again if we ever end up back in Burford!!!Dear Alex RThank you for leaving a lovely review.We are pleased that you had an enjoyable evening with us. In Witney for a Pilates course I lucked out at Suwanna. The tastiest, freshest Sea Bass dish. sweet, sour and hot with chillies and just the right amount of crunchy healthy veg. Perfect with steamed rice.The staff were so enthusiastic helping with my order and clearly delighted when I enjoyed it so much.Outstanding.

Visited here again thought it might of improved! Nope! Had a bad stomach for 3 days . Soggy chicken yak! Crispy chilli beef one big mass , no sauce hardly , chips were definitely not fresh ! And prawn crackers were from night before . Inadequate food , a friend of mine also ate at newdragon Saturday night and she had to put in complaint ! Hopefully feedback will sink in eventually..

I visited this restaurant whilst on business at Carterton with my colleague. I had popedoms then a tandoori mixed grill with pilau rice the food was average and the guy serving wasn't the most pleasant of people would not recommend and will not return in the future food is bland and costs are high.

Our first AirBnB adventure resulted in a visit to the nearby Carpenters Arms. This was also our very first experience of Cambodian cuisine, and we were instantly converted. In a nutshell, the lady who was front-of-house was very welcoming and took the time to explain certain aspects of the menu to us, and when the food arrived (very quickly) it did not disappoint. I was very impressed with how healthy the food was - plenty of vegetables and lean meat. As for the desserts, I can recommend Ube Purple Sweet Potato ice cream with cheese, or Sticky Black Rice.Overall, absolutely brilliant. I would highly recommend this restaurant without any qualms at all.
