My husband, Andy, has a cousin who lives in beautiful Clifton. She told us that this part of Bristol would love a Thai restaurant like ours. So we put one in! We really enjoyed turning what was a square box into âa feast for the eyesâ as someone put it. Y
Enjoyed a pleasant family meal here. Was very busy with all tables full and people queuing to get in. Our table was by the door which wasnât ideal with those waiting to get in. Service a bit slow and staff apologetic about delays blaming busyness. Shared starters which worked well. May be better on a week day if less busy - or maybe more staff would help. 10% service charge was added automatically- we were a group of 4.

We are a privately owned restaurant operating since 1992. Junior Poon never been about stars, glitz or gimmicks. It's about the simple old fashion traditional qualities that really matters most to their guests - serving well cooked exquisite classic food
Yet again Excellent food and excellent staff. A particular mention for Patrick who was exceptional. He was able to advise on the dishes and knew them very well indeed which with a vast menu is very impressive. He was very very polite indeed. Every member of staff we encountered was too class. The food was yet again very very good indeed. I had my favourite crispy lamb as one of the courses and it was so succulent and full of flavour. Highly recommend. Thank you for your kind review.Pleased to hear that you have found all our staff to be how they should be. We always strive to provide the best for all our customers.Thank you for recommending us and we look forward to be of service to you again soon.

We visited Posh Spice on Christmas Eve as a family group of 6. The staff were indifferent and unfriendly. Two of us had an aperitif of gin and tonic. Neither of us could taste any gin at all. We all had different dishes and at best the dishes were nondescript. Initially the service was rushed and then so slow we gave up on having desserts, coffee... We had to go over to the bar to request the bill and then return to the bar to pay it although both were supposed to be at the table. When we did go to pay it transpired their credit card machine was not working and so cash would have to be paid. We were told it had been faulty all evening, however this information had not been provided when we arrived. We are not cash people, fortunately however between us we had enough to pay the bill with cash. There was no sense of customer service at all. The atmosphere was dead and the restaurant cold. It was not busy at all. We will not be returning to Posh Spice again.

A small but brilliant curry house just a few minutes walk from the SS Great Britain. We were greeted with a fantastic reception when we arrived and the attentive staff looked after us well during our entire visit. We went for Chefs specials and were not disappointed. The lamb garlic chilli was amazing as was the tikka dishes.A lovely little find in Bristol and we will be back.

The Mint Room, Bristol, is a stone's throw from the village, the world-famous suspension bridge, and the bustling 'triangle'. With a constantly evolving menu, the Mint Room is at the forefront of innovative and inspired Indian cuisine in the South West. W
We had dinner here on 12th October having driven from London to treat my mum for her birthday. From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional, attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant itself is nicely laid out and I'd say this was a great restaurant for a date as the lighting and ambience could be quite romantic. Everything we ate was delicious, highlights included the onion bhaji and the Halibut but really everything was lovely. Drinks were great too and they offered fab non-alcoholic alternatives. The staff are incredibly accommodating and have great knowledge about the menu. Overall this was a great experience which we will repeat.

Authentic Indian cuisine
The Thursday night banquet @ £11.95 p.p.remains first and "primus inter pares" amongst the Bagladeshi/Indian restaurants in Clevedon for giving good value for money. There is an extensive choice on the menu, it's a comfortable place to find and the service is usually good.

In Indian Rassasy we brings you the real taste of India with our experienced and qualified chefs. The restaurant provides the food according to the taste bud of the guest.
Restaurants are in truth reflective of any business in any market, in so much that you find a few good ones, a load who are mediocre/satisfactory and a good few who are poor. Bristol is blessed with more than it's fair share of Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants who sit in that rarified first category. However after our visit this evening, It's beyond question that Sam and his team have established and are building a truly authentic Indian dining offering of the very highest order. The difference between the good and the great lies in the detail, delivering the simple things that are faultless....Well done to Sam and thanks!
