We came here as part of a larger group and it looked very promising. There was an extensive menu with plenty to choose from for everyone including vegetarians. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was good. Unfortunately, some of the food wasn't that great - one of the starters was really bland (tofu filled spring roll). They did offer to package up any food we hadn't eaten but we declined. The biggest problem we had was when it came to paying - unfortunately their machines will only accept German-owned credit cards so forget trying to use your MasterCard or Visa and take plenty of cash with you.

For a TA ranking of #21 of 3,152 Restaurants in Munich, had such high expectations. Looks nice and cosy, but food quality and taste - below any other Asian ever experienced in Munich. Lack of taste in actually everything we ordered. Service, - OK, nothing to write home about. But overall, for any price level it is below average. Will not be back there.

Returning is sometimes making mistakes. In that case the mistake was not mine, but the Chef. The famous light transparent ravioli are not served for lunch but only for dinner. Insisting I could order. Very disappointing, dough was thick, filling was without any taste. The service was unfriendly, the whole lunch (4 people) very uninteresting and the babies too loud.

Two years ago i had a meal at this restaurant and it was great , the staff were friendly and attentive and even spoke English ( they didnt need to ) when hearing me speak to my wife even though our friends were speaking German . both the food and the overall service was excellent . I didnt post a review then but am so now because i have used the Guru again for a takeaway and the speed of service and food was again excellent .i would totally recommend this place to eat and will be going back again when in Germany next year !!!!

My wife and I visited here seeking something fresh and spicy, and the restaurant did not disappoint. Friendly and personal service, which humoured our limited German, throughout. Food was very nice, and big portions! If you like it spicy, the lovely hostess will provide you fresh cut red chillies too (and they were hot!!).Lovely place, well worth a visit.

We went here last night with friends and were pleasantly surprised. We started with mixed pakoras for two which were very tasty. Our friends had chicken curry, chicken tikka masala We had lamb vindaloo and lamb in garlic ginger sauce. We also had garlic naan bread and Pishauri naan . My only complaint would be how expensive the water is. Will definitely return

Champor is the very first Malaysian dining in Germany. Based in Munich. Champor showcases the Malaysian home-style kitchen and the favourite street food, especially from Penang, my home. We do not Europeanise or compromise our food in any way. When we say
Have visited many times but this was the first visit for more than a year. Nothing has changed the welcome is as warm as ever, the service is very good and the food is the star of the show. If you like spice then you are in for a treat with multiple subtle flavours and plenty of heat.We had the mixed starter which really gives you a great chance to experience many different tastes and flavours on Malaysia, certainly something for everyone. The 4 different main courses were all shared and enjoyed by all of us with the duck and chicken dishes a stand out plates. If you are coming from the city it is a bit of a trek or taxi ride but every time we have done this it has proved to be a really worthwhile experience. Will visit again.Thank you very much for being with us! See all of you soon again. This time a must our Lamb Curry - Shawal style. I am sure you love the taste!BestKiren

Chinesisch Mongolisches Grillrestaurant
Visited with some colleagues while on business. First restaurant we came across (opposite side of the road to our hotel). Staff seemed a bit hit and miss, one was bordering rude the other couldn't do enough for us. The buffet food is nice but there's not much to choose from. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again but if it's the only choice then fine.
