We visit Shampaan regularly and really enjoy the food. The service can be chronically slow though as the takeaway part of the business seems to take priority so if not patient or really hungry! avoid Saturday nights, Iâm not sure about Fridays though.If you are prepared on occasions to wait the food is lovely so worth a visit but perhaps best to avoid Saturdays, easier said than done for most of us though.

Eaten here, when visiting with family, on several occasions.. the atmosphere, the food, the staff are all great, also very clean..The food is excellent quality, I love fish dishes and there is a good choice, beautifully cooked..This place is probably the best sit down Chinese restaurant Iâve been in, so if youâre in the area, book a table.

We wanted to try a local Chinese as per previous reviewers comments the choices local are poor...well this goes down the list from the one I thought was terrible. Where to start, 1 king prawn in the house "special" fried rice, pork that tasted sweaty...the highlight was the runny...like water runny...sweet and sour, had four dishes all poor and I have to be honest I'm not that picky, one to avoid

I'll sum up first. It was our first Chinese take away in the area and although not bad. Will try others before returning.We had spare ribs, prawn toast, crispy shredded beef and prawn chow mein. All for £20. All the food was freshly cooked although personally I thought the chow mein could have done with a little more flavour. Ribs were good, meaty and tasty. I can't say anything bad but it certainly wasn't great. And since we hadn't had Chinese for over a year, anything decent should have been amazing!Be warned, cash only but there is an ATM just up the road.

Beautifully decorated Thai restaurant with lovely food and great service. Great menu choice and we all had something different. My Red Chicken curry and chicken satay starter were amazing. Partner had a sweet and sour/chilli Three flavoured seabass which he said was delicious. Were made to feel very welcome by the lovely staff. Highly recommend it.

My first experience at Alessi was exquisite, and unforgettable. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was outstanding, and the staff were polite. I came down with 6 other people, and neither of us had to wait long for our starters and mains to arrive. If anyone asks me for any recommendations for Indian restaurants, I'd definitely mention Alessi.

We decided to eat here after walking past and seeing the restaurant almost full on a week day. We were met by the staff and they had no problem with providing my grandson with a high chair. The staff were very attentive and the food was very good. The restaurant is well decorated and clean. A professional we'll run business. Thank you.

stopped off for food late on a saturday night and was treated to one of the best curries i have eaten for a long time. Would strongly recommend booking over a weekend as the place can be very busy but that said they will do their utmost to get you seated as soon as possible

The food was absolutely delicious. Such a range of classics and unique items that are rarely seen at other restaurants (like the steam pork buns! Amazing!)Every member of staff welcomed us with a smile and were attentive and very kind. The right balance between looking after their customers and not being too over bearing. We have recently bought a house in the area and we already know this is going to be a firm favourite.

Visited latifs last week with my boyfriend, very busy atmosphere and service was brilliant, both enjoyed the curries, had a chicken tikka masala the chicken was so tender and sauce so creamy. Highly recommend it and will visit again soon :)
