We were stopping over at the nearby Best Western for an early morning flight and after considering the other evening meal options in Handforth (including Greek, Chinese and Italian) we plumped for an Indian and dropped in on this place early Saturday evening. Didn't need to book although it did fill up later. Staff were pleasant enough and enjoyed plentiful pickles and chutneys with our popadoms.The main meals were a touch of a disappointment and despite going for 'hot' versions of our chosen dishes neither were really spicy enough and the depth of flavour wasn't really there either. In summary, decent enough but, hand on heart, I couldn't really recommend.

Not being big eaters we chose a bit of mix and match to share mainly from the small dish menu. Our waiter was extremely attentive and showed a first class attention to detail. Whilst being informed that there were three chicken satay skewers per portion four were delivered, class. The ribs were also gorgeous as was the quarter duck and the sweet and sour chicken was off the scale. All in all it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience a nice change from the Grill and eased us gently in to facing the horror of Manchester Airport the following morning!Dear Grandparentsontours. Only eaten here once and were not blown away so a year on we thought weâd give it another go. Drinks took a while to arrive and from the number of phone calls and carrier bags flying out the door it felt that they put more attention and effort on their takeaway service than customers in the restaurant.Poppadoms and chutney tray was ok but the mango sauce is neon so not entirely sure how authentic or fresh it is.Main meals were ok. Portions are generous but variety of veg in a mixed veggie curry was limited. Naan was soggy and covered In syrup which was odd.Compared to other Indian restaurants in the local area this lacks atmosphere, customer focus and value for money.

Thursday 10.10.19, just approaching 8.00 pm The bar is virtually empty and a fab motown vocalist has just started singing. My husband and I, who are local, went in for a drink. We were served promptly but after "finishing" our drinks (remember the place was quite empty so the bar staff should have noticed our glasses were empty) my husband attempted to attract the attention of the one bar person (a female) who was more interested in her mobile phone. Fed up we started to leave and only then were we asked by a male bar person if we wanted another drink. My husband was already out of the door. I told the male bar person that we had wanted another drink but as the female was more into her mobile than her customers and he was not on the bar at the time, to forget it. All credit to him, he did his best to entice us to stay whilst in the meantime the female appeared and tried to defend herself!!! Really!!!! Does this place want the business? Certainly looks like it needs it.

Best Thai food ever . Been twice the ribs are amazing . All food was very good and very tasty . Staff lovely and attentive. Would definitely reccomend a visit

Great ambience, warm welcome and attentive service. As a regular and local to Bengal Tiger Lily living in Nether Alderley we love going for the food.Staff are friendly and service is great.Menu has lots of choice and the food is really nice.Great lovers of Indian food and this is the best Indian restaurant in the area.

Four friends early evening enjoyed the wonderful setting, with a mixed starter, great variety of curries, including rices and breads topped by spotless toilets and a heated front window. There is nothing that could be improved, I will definitely be visiting again keep up the great work.

I absolutely love the food here but Iâm losing patience with the poor service. I regularly order takeaway sushi which is well over twenty minutes late (at least the last four times). Particularly irritating when each time they tell you it will be 40 minutes (a long time for take away!) and you end up waiting a further 35 like today. Please fix this! The food is lovely but this needs sorting!

We always enjoy really nice and tasty cuisine at Phantong Wilmslow. The staff are always super friendly and attentive. We chose a selection of starters to share between our party of 6. The scallops were cooked just perfect,, although for me the accompanying source, although really tasty, was a bit too much for the delicate scallops. That's only my feeling on this dish and no criticism of the cooking. The mains were all nicely presented - but for me (opposite to the scallop dish) the sea bass in soya sauce lacked a bit of flavour. Like the scallops, the fish too was cooked well, but just needed a bit more taste. Don't be put off by my personal tastes as this is a lovely restaurant and one we'd recommend and will certainly go back to. Overall a lovely evening enjoyed by all. #tayloredbyus
