Find out what Armenian restaurants to try in Yerevan. Long fought over by warring empires, the city of Yerevan survived centuries of foreign occupation, finally becoming independent with the fall of the Soviet Union. This capital city, a center of Armenian culture, has celebrated its freedom with a flurry of construction and a growing population. Despite this push forward, history survives in Yerevan - The Institute of Ancient Manuscripts houses books dating back to the 9th century, and the ruins of the Erebuni Fortress, built in 782 BC, still stand.

Tavern Yerevan restaurant chain represents its visitors a new initiative âTavern Yerevan.Riversideâ which is a unique place not far from the city where You can enjoy the breathtaking beauty of nature.
We celebrated a birthday. Everything was exellent. On a hot July evening, we sat on the open veranda. Listened to classical music, then modern, people danced with pleasure. And then was showed a small ballet performance based on the history of Armenia.Everything that was ordered was very tasty and beautiful. In general, the menu is varied, the choice of dishes is rich. Served quickly and very friendly. Prices are quite reasonable. Our birthday was presented with a bottle of Armenian wine. The restaurant is a complex of several verandas, rooms and all this among the trees. Light illumination, music, a lot of smiling people - all this creates a festive atmosphere.I recommend ordering kebab from beef and drink from blackberry.

If you want to organize rest for your kid in the lap of the nature with delicious food and loads of interesting games it is not obligatory to go to the countryside at all. A few minute-ride from the center next to Sport and Concert complex after K. Demirc
I was a birthday guest. The hosts of the party reserved a table in El garden kids zone (open-air). The birthday had to begin at 4 p.m. I came at 3:30. Our table was already served, BUT!!! a flock of birds was eating our food, because the food was not covered. After I saw that, I ate nothing. Besides that, in the straw under the table were pieces of garbage remaining from the previous birthday, also spoons, candies, pieces of bread, etc. Waiters were too slow. We had to wait for a bottle of water for 40 minutes. For a place where you have to pay 5000 AMD just for child's entrance, this is too bad. This place is just like other kid's cafes in Yerevan, I mean, terrible. Unfortunately, a week later I was again invited to the same place, but indoors. No soap in the restrooms. Ugly food. Armenian cheese plate smelled badly. Pizzas looked promising, but the reality was that I got sick after that evening. Plus, too much noise for a little place. Never again. Thanks.Dear Guest, Thank you for having taken your time to provide us with your valuable feedback relating to your visit. We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your time at our Kid's Zone area because of bad service. We ensure you that we will do our best to find out what was the problem and why our waiters didn't take proper care of your order. Once again sorry for any inconvenience caused. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the nearest future and provide you with a better experience.

Delicious food aesthetically served by efficient, friendly staff. Don't skip the dessert- mouthwatering Mille-feuille. It is essential to reserve in advance but you may get lucky as we have. Visited 2 restaurants and both were amazing. Heard from the manager of Tumanyan St. that they have just opened a cafe bar called: Livingstone! Definitely worth checking out. Dear guest,We deeply appreciate your positive feedback about our restaurant.Thatâs great that you have enjoyed the dishes, service and atmosphere. Our staff is really very attentive and helpful. Our recently opened Livingston Restaurant offers guests high European fusion, as well as, molecular cuisine. All our guests have the opportunity to discover new flavors. The musical format of the restaurant is also special. You are always welcome.Sincerely,Armenuhi HovhannisyanCustomer Relations ManagerLavash Restaurant Yerevan

The restaurant is verry famous it was recommended by our armenian friend. The restaurant receive his customer by booking only, as a tourist i tried to book more than one time but unfortunaly the reply is always full. The question is It is really fully booked or this is a marketing strategy.I cant talk about the food or service but i can tell you that i couldnt make a booking Dear Antoine,Thank you for the feedback. That' a pity that you have not got chance to be in our Restaurant. We would like to mention that as we are usually busy, guests are making in advance reservation via phone, mail,Facebook.Days and hours also depend,so it is not only by booking. It is difficult to find vacant table especially for lunch time, evenings hours, holidays. The central location of the Restaurant and wide windows give chance even to passers- by see what is going on inside. So it is very easy to judge whether it is really fully booked or a marketing strategy. If you are in Yerevan and still interested in visiting us ,could you please provide us with your contact number via e/m [email protected] .We will arrange accordingly. We do hope to have the opportunity to host you.Sincerely,Armenuhi HovhannisyanCustomer Relations Manager Sherep Restaurant

Katsa is an Armenian restaurant, which represents the most famous dishes of Armenian & Georgian cuisine. The restaurant is located in the heart of Yerevan; in the hospitable atmosphere of the restaurant, you can enjoy morning breakfasts, special lunch men
We made a reservation via messenger app & received a confirmation of our reservation. The restaurant was very considerate & gave us a private room as we've requested for a non-smoking section. We tried their homemade red wine, mushroom & borsch soups, eggplant rolled in walnuts, grilled sevan trout, chicken kebabs, veal cutlets. Service was friendly & prompt. Food was good except for the mushroom soup & veal which we found a tad salty (but we note that food in Armenia is generally a little more salty than back home). We particularly liked the borsch soup & eggplant. Prices are very reasonable given the quality of food & standard of service. Highly recommended. Dear Guest,Thank you so much for taking the time to come by our place and thank you a thousand more for such a wonderful review, hope to have you back with us soon!
