Ate here twice. An attractive room on the town Square. This is known in town as being a top pasta restaurant. We didn't think the pasta was anything special, just OK. Salads and other dishes, including trout, were good. Wine selection fine and very reasonably priced. The local Scottish Ale was poorly made, but other standard beers were available. Actually an impressive restaurant for this hardscrabble town.

We ordered the Tapeo (combination of 9 tapas) our first night. The owner graciously offered substitutions to satisfying our dietary preferences. The dishes were carefully prepared, innovative, and delicious, though extremely rich and heavy on the cheese and cream. Highlights were the pear and arugula salad and the carrot salad. We ate outside with a view to die for. Went back our last night and it may have been an off night for the chef.

This is a small Argentinian Parrilla restaurant in rural Argentina. There doesn't appear to be a web site.
Have been here several times in previous years. Twice this year. It's still a fine restaurant. Simple decor with some people watching TV. Trout was excellent, steaks some of the best we have ever eaten, and the excellent tomatoes a real surprise. Even French fries very good. Pick your beer from the frig, and wine off a table. Good choices and very inexpensive. Can't go wrong here.
