Our guide brought us here and we were clearly expected: after a splendid assortment of meze there was a theatrical flourish as an enormous pot was upended onto a serving dish. The contents were a superb chicken and rice concoction beautifully seasoned with cinnamon and much else, very moreish and several of us had 'seconds'. This was home cooking at its best. I got the impression that this was the dish of the day, but there may have been other menu items on offer. It's an attractive, homely place and our hostess Ferial was charming and friendly. Well worth a visit.

I live this place.. Great seating area, Great view, Great atmosphere, and delicious food. But I am giving 3 stars due to the condition of the toilets, very unclean and unmaintained. Hope it was an isolated incidence.

We had 2 appetizers: the halloumi and the local sausages. The halloumi was served in a sizzling iron pan topped with chopped tomatoes and olives. It was delicious and a well balanced appetizer with the rubbery squeeginess of the salty halloumi mixing well with the sweetness of the tomatoes. The local sausages were wolfed down by my children in seconds! The sausages were deliciously peppery contrasted with the tangy lemon garlic sauce. For mains we had the meat saljiah which was sublime! Tender spiced minced lamb cooked in this delectable tomato-onion gravy. The burst of flavor in the mouth had us fighting to get the last bite. Last but not least was the maftool pottery which was a stew of cous cous, chicken, onions and chickpeas. Absolute comfort food and reminded me of home cooking. We truly recommend this place although it is pricey.

This is a pub/restaurant at entrance of Fuheis.Outdoors seating is nice, but the indoor vibe truly captivating. Nice decoration, setup, pool table, feels like a pub in Europe or North America. The food is very good particularly the burgers. They can do a better job on the beers, as several ones like the Kilkenny and Leffe were not available.Suhaib, our server was outstanding. Knowledgeable, polite, and very professional.I would have given a 5 star review if they carried all the beers they had on the menu. Plus, they only have the Karakale blonde, the fact they they are few hundred meters away from the Karakale factory, should encourage them to carry all the Karakale beer types. After all, the name of the place is BEER and burger.Recommended!

it serves a wide range of Arabic food pasta and pizza Casual cozy atmosphere, restaurant is attached to hotel,it serves Levant food ,few continental dishes . It also serves local beer and wine at reasonable prices.A hot cultural spot for local live music ,
Wow. Ron showed us an authentic cooking experience. Beside a real working kitchen we participated in making some the most well known dishes of the Middle East. Baba Ganoish, Mtabal dip and Tabouleh Salad to start with. Then Makloube Tagin (upside down rice and chicken) and semolina for desert. Along with the cooking Ron gives explanations and cultural histories of the ingredients, how they are alternatively cooked and how the local people lived. Tasting throughout we were able to add more seasoning, lemon juice etc to make the dishes suit our own pallets. It was also interesting to learn that I had the wrong idea of what Baba Ganoush is. You might be surprised by the original recipe. Furthermore this is a cheap way to spend a few hours and get huge meal thrown in. Totally recommend this cooking experience.

So the restaurant name means" Grandma's House". It was the grandma's house of the current restaurant owner. So she wanted to revive the place and teach people how to cook like her grandma used to do. I have tried this with some friends and business associates from different backgrounds and cooking experience. They walk with you step by step and they are very friendly with their guests. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jordan whether friends, couples, families. It is a fun place

Tammouz restaurant and cafe is representing the Arabic Syrian culture by serving typical food from this area, although you can also see the culture in the interior design of Tammouz. The name of the restaurant is founded in the Syrian god for fertility, w
This is low profile restaurant in Weibdeh, near Abu Mahjoub.I went there for breakfast. Indoors and outdoors seating available, we sat outside. I would say biggest added value of the place is its cosy seating area and friendliness of staff.Medium sized menu with many things to choose from. We tried the Tabbouleh, good but a bit on the small size and can use more parsley and less bulgar wheat. The fresh spicy mango dish was unique and refreshing. The local sausages were tasty and the Manakeesh were excellent. We had the white cheese one and the spinach cheese one, both baked very nicely and generously topped/stuffed.The water jugs infused with lemon and mint are a nice touch, until you realize they charge you for them!Good overall breakfast experience! Recommended!
