Discover Restaurants offering the best Arabic food in Luxor, Nile River Valley, Egypt. The Luxor in Las Vegas is to the actual CITY of Luxor, Egypt, as marshmallow fluff is to fois gras. (We’re sure you knew that. We just enjoy analogies.) Sure, the hotel/casino in Vegas might have a beam of light visible from space, but we bet you'll find a hot-air balloon ride over the Valley of Kings much more illuminating. Your favourite waiter from the Africa Restaurant (Ahmed/Adam) has taken his expertise and experience and opened his own restaurant specialising in traditional Egyptian Food, like Mama makes. The house specialities are Stuffed Roast Quail, Camel Meat Targi
As I've written before, This is one of my must-go places. Two enjoyable meals this trip.one solitary and one with friends.Ahmed was ever the congenial host & the food was fresh & hot.It was during the daily temps of 45C so I was careful to sit under a fan, but Ahmed quickly switched on one of the portable Air/Con blowers. OK, I had to trap the menus under the cutlery to stop them from flying away, but I wasn't going to complain!Very pleasant experiences

Only indian restaurant. Food is ok. Ambience not bad. Being vegetarian had few options. Owner and staff are good. Tell them ' indian ' medium spicy.

Newly refurbished, under new management and name 'Castello Restaurant & Cafe' New menu, fresh ingredients daily.
I know it has been a while since I've been there, but better late than never! I am so glad that other people have found this little gem and are continuing to enjoy the great service and food. I was staying a few nights at the Steigenberger Hotel in Luxor, and I like to venture out and take in some of the local flavor in a new place. I had not wandered very far at all before I came across Castello, and was so happy that I did. Absolutely the most welcoming and friendly dining experience, and the food was fantastic. Budget friendly, too! I wish I could have eaten every meal there. The wood fired pizza was delicious, as well as a vegetable dish (eggplant, etc.) in tomato sauce, kind of like a lasagna, but called something else that I can't remember. Please, give Castello your business when visiting Luxor, and you will not be sorry!
I adore this place because the food is excellent in taste, quality, cleanliness and the most beautiful treatment is a real place worth the money I wish everyone experience
