Day trip took us through âout of the wayâ Yerrington, we figured we might be able to find fast food there. When we drove into town we saw Sherryâs and were attracted to the outside decor. We were very pleasantly surprised when we went on. Not only was the inside decor extremely well done, cleanliness was obviously and the hospitality was outstanding. Sherry and her husband do it all and do it with flair and warmth. The menu was much more expansive than I expected and the food...... there were 7 of us all ordering different dinners - every single food item was âabove averageâ if not excellent. If I lived within driving distance I would be going back!

Went on a Thursday night when they have their $10.00 1 pound t-bone. I was expecting a thin steak but was pleasantly surprised. The steak was huge but not quite cooked to my requested doneness. Nice salad bar. Restaurant has a large menu and friendly wait staff.
Stopped in for a late lunch. I had their Frisco burger, 2 patties, american cheese on parmesian sour dough, and 1000 Island dressing and tator tots. A good variety on the menu for basically being a high class sports bar. Friendly staff and prices that wont hurt your wallet. Decore a little out dated but does not affect the quality of the food. Just a badic salad bar with not a lot of selections though.
Ate at Giuseppe's Steak House for the first time in September 2012 and most recently in March 2013. Never expected to find "fine dining" in the heart of downtown Yerington, but Giuseppe's Steak House fits the bill. Both times I had the prime rib with creamed horseradish and au jus served on the side. It was excellent! There are several entree choices and the prices are reasonable. I love that this place has low lighting, white tablecloths, a choice of booths or tables. Your dining experience starts off with a very good relish tray and some delicious sourdough bread. The entrees come with soup or salad (great bleu cheese dressing), a choice of potato or rice (can't beat the baked potato), vegetables cooked to perfection and, as if all that was not enough, a dessert (typically ice cream). The first time I had Spumoni ice cream (you don't find that everywhere) and the second time they did not have Spumoni but we could get vanilla topped with a liqueur. I chose vanilla topped with Kahlua (yum!). The only tough part is that Giuseppe's is only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. My friend liked Giuseppe's so much that we were going to bring others there the next night (Saturday) so they could try it and the place was booked for a private party. I highly recommend that you call in advance and make reservations.
