We've eaten here at least a dozen times at a dozen different times and times of day. The service is friendly and quick. Caution: The servers tend to work so quickly that they don't listen to your order correctly and get it wrong. Our last time there just a few weeks ago, we ordered two different types of chicken. We had to wait for twenty minutes and then when we received our order it was for only the original recipe. We had to wait another twenty minutes to get our grilled order. Needless to say, we were very annoyed. We remained pleasant but spoke with the manager, who could have cared less. As a result, we can't recommend it and won't be returning again.
Miss Glenda is in charge and cooked one of the best steaks that I have ever tasted. There is a great variety to choose from and each dish was cooked to perfection and the price was just right. If you are in Yazoo City pay Cafe 7 a visit as you won't regret it.

Just passing thru on our way to New Orleans and decided to try P-Reauxâs. We were not disappointed and actually pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, hot and beyond delicious. Laurie our server, was friendly and such a sweetie. The shrimp boil was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Their comeback sauce is so good. Iâm happy we have leftovers to eat later. Worth the trip to Yazoo

Tonight was the 2nd time we have stopped at Stub's on our way to Destin, Florida. Catfish dinner was excellent 6 weeks ago (all 4 of us ordered it) & tonight (7/7/2017), I tried a cheeseburger & their home cut fries (along with a piece of catfish) and it was a GREAT burger. We are 2 for 2 eating here. And the waitresses are very nice & humble people. We will try to make it a regular stop each time we go thru Yazoo City.

Out rambling on a day off, we stopped in this restaurant for lunch based on reviews and media promotions of the local chef. This restaurant is known for its barbecue. The waitress informed us they were out of pulled pork. Hubby ordered a small brisket sandwich and I ordered a grilled chicken breast sandwich. We opted to share an order of home fries. Hubbyâs sandwich was pretty good, my chicken was not. The chicken had a very rubbery, stringy texture. I could not eat it. Donât know if it was cooked in a microwave or what. Hubby tried to taste a bite and could not chew it as well. The home fries were good. I wouldnât recommend the grilled chicken sandwich. Go with the brisket!

My parents have been frequenting this restaurant since it opened. I love the historic feel and significance of the building, and especially the interior of Tom's. They have one server, but that's all they need. She knows everyone within a 3 county range, and what their quirks and needs are. My favorite go to dish is the redfish, but I have had a fantastic filet on occasion. The grilled squash is one of our table's favorite sides. The bread that comes to the table has looked a little battered lately, but I don't eat bread at night anyway. Tom has traveled the globe extensively, and has a lot of knowledge of food and wine. Don't be afraid to pick his brain. I'm grateful that if I have to be located in Mississippi for a few months, there is a place like Tom's.
