The food here is terrible and the staff doesn't care. I ordered popcorn chicken to go and it was so hard I had to throw it away. I called the manager and she tried to make it right by telling me to keep receipt and next time I was over that way they would give me a order free, which two weeks later I did however it was the same as before

I have always loved eating at Hardee's in Florida when I lived there and now in Tennessee. They have always been clean, the food really good, and the service excellent. But--- I recently spent the weekend in Yadkinville North Carolina visiting my sister- in- law and her family. My nephew took us to breakfast at Hardee's and we had a bad experience. We waited over 30 minutes to get our order. The order was not right when we got it. We went ahead and ate it because we were so hungry. The table was dirty and we had to wipe it off ourselves. There was litter all over the floor and the garbage cans were over-full. Well we went back the next night for supper because it is a small town and on Sunday night a lot of the restaurants close early. Same as the morning before. A very long wait for our food, dirty floors, trash can running over. There were four of us and two of our orders were wrong. We got them to change it but the food quality was not as good as the other Hardee's I have been to. They need a visit from the health inspector, and maybe more help behind the counter, and possibly a good manager.

I ordered a combo and a small order of mozzarella sticks. I ordered potato cakes, which meant my order would take longer. No problem. When my food came out, it was not quite up to par. Mozzarella sticks and sandwich didn't take as long to prepare as the potato cakes, and they were not hot when I got them--I guess they waited on a tray while the potato cakes cooked. The potato cakes were disappointing also. They were very greasy and not cooked through. Probably the oil wasn't hot enough, and the large order of frozen potato cakes further cooled the oil. The outside was cooked, but the inside was not even hot.Timing is everything. Don't put together a sandwich so that it is waiting and cooling (and drying out) while the rest of the order cooks. For frying frozen product, proper oil temp is everything.

I am a sucker for a hometown restaurant. Wherever I travel I like to do the drive by survey and if the place looks promising I will take a risk and walk through the scuffed up door onto the linoleum floor that is usually what is standard décor for this type of establishment. But, oh when the food is good who cares about the floors or the faded old prints on the walls? Aces had the best fried flounder I have ever chomped bar none. And two sides as well for $5.00! Can it ever be matched? Probably not unless I pass through Yadkinville again.

I got popcorn shrimp with sweet potato and coleslaw. The coleslaw was mushy and old. The shrimp had more breading than shrimp and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. The sweet potato was reheated because the outside was hot but the inside was done and cold. The cashier was rude, never looked at me, and threw my debit card in my bag. Save yourself the trouble and go to Little Richards across the street, much better food and staff.

We came back for one more try at this local place and no improvement has been made hereWe can see that the cooks are gone and replaced with new ones We sat at the bar for lunch -- bad choice for viewing our food being cookedNo gloves being used and the cook dropped a towel on the ground and picked it back up and wiped down the prep table with it -- GROSSThey seemed to be fairly busy but no excuse for not handling the preparation of food Service was awful -- it took 30 minutes for a hot dog, fries, hamburger and onion ringsNo refill on drinks and we were sittiing right in front of them.I asked them what happened to the short bubbly skinny waitress that is usually there at lunch time and does a great job and was told she was let go -- thats a big mistake So just to recap , slow food , bad food handling and bad service This equals no more dining here anymore for a long time

If, like me, you've been searching for the great hot dog that the truck served, but suddenly disappeared, look no further than Yadkinville. In addition to the world's best hot dog, they now have other great burgers and sandwiches. And of course, the wondeerful hand-cut fries! It's worth a drive for you city dwellers and here's hoping someday they will expand to Winston Salem. Hours are a little quirky (closed on Saturdays?).
