Wife and I needed a lunch on our way to the Berkshires. Based on recent reviews, we decided to try Foxtail. A good choice for us....we shared a plate of fresh, stir fried veggies and a veggie burger. This was good foodââ the veggies were done perfectly with lots of oriental flavor. Veggie burger on a nice bun was homemade and delicious. Good service, clean restrooms and quality food and daily made ice tea....top notch....recommended.

This was a colossal disappointmentment from the non functioning AC to the poorly timed serving and sub par quality of our meals. First, it was warmer inside the restaurant than outside despite assurances that the AC was working. We were literally mopping ourselves off with dinner linens. Then some in our party were still waiting for meals while others were nearly done. The kitchen was clearly understaffed for a weekend. The food itself was overcooked... chewy shrimp soaked in butter and the list goes on. AND it was priced for a far higher level of quality and service. It doesn't take much to time meals and have functioning AC in the middle of summer. If not for the lovely, apologetic waitress it would have been a zero rating. We won't be back.

From the outside the shed like wooden structure looks like you should stay well away. This is deceiving as the food is extremely good and providing the weather is fine the outside dining, especially at weekends offers the chance to hear many of Connecticut's motorcyclists go by! Outside seating is covered as protection from sun and rain. Inside seating is limited! The grilled cheese sandwich topped by a fried egg is a treat, omelets, pancakes are good with the choice of paying slightly more for delicious local Maple Syrup instead of a commercially produced one.The coffee, as one would hope in a diner is both good, fresh and willingly refilled. A chance basically to go back in time before diners took on the art deco look that we associate with roadside stops. This one is on the main road in town and is easy to overlook, don't.

Neighborhood Restaurant with Grass Fed Burgers, Local Craft Beer, and Great Entrees | Rowley Grill & Tap
We had heard from multiple sources good things about this restaurant. I am excited too say that it surpassed our expectations. We each had a different burger and all were excellent. The sweet potatoes fries and onion rings were great as well. Add to that a top notch selection of beers...how can you go wrong. We will definitely go back!!!
