Slow service. Expensive for what you get.Bruschetta appetizers where excellent.Main courses where only soso. My Genovese pasta was very disappointing. Tasted like hamburger helper. May go back once more due to the bruschetta being great and I am told that the Pizza is supposed to be excellent.

After watching this cafe on "You Gotta Eat Here", we were very disappointed. Ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and boon burger. Ad shows a nice bread for the bun, received a round heavy bun on both burgers. The double bacon cheese had 2 thin veg. bacon. There was absolutely no taste, except for cucumbers. No smokey taste. The boon burger was similarly blah, except for the taste of the dijon mustard and cucumbers. The only bright spot. Was the Yukon french fries. Otherwise rating would be lower.

My husband and I have eaten often at this restaurant over the last few years... it is consistently delicious ... you are guaranteed an awesome meal with outstanding service. There isn't a dish we havenât loved. The Salmon and Pickerel dishes are my favourites and my husband adores the baby back ribs and the signature burger. Great soups and salads and the Ahi Tuna Roll is a staple appetizer. Bon Appetit!

Without a reservation, went for a late dinner on Monday with out of town guests. We all ordered drinks and the prime rib. The food, the service and the martinis were all excellent. The server was attentive, sociable and very good at her job. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a superb meal, well priced, in a nice higher-end restaurant.

We are travelling through Winnipeg for two nights and chose Joey based on reviews. We opted for Happy Hour, and sat in the bar. Our server, Jane, and the others were very friendly and provided perfect service. Our food was served hot and was delicious. With a mini-family reunion, we'd had a full day enjoying Winnipeg and each other, and we needed food! We'd heard of NUBURGER, we checked out the TripAdvisor and other ratings apps, and off we went. Turns out to be walking distance from our place and even better, absolutely delicious. The burgers are good-sized with all fresh sides and extras. We chose ours "to go" and there is plenty of indoor eating space. ENJOY!

My husband and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and we were not disappointed! All the staff, especially our server Sophie, were fantastic! We ordered a lobster appetizer and steak and lobster tail for dinner. It was delicious from the complimentary warm bread to the desert and cocktail nothing was a disappointment. All of it was cooked to perfection, itâs not always that you ask for filet mingnon medium well and it comes out tender and not tough but they have clearly perfected steak. And the lobster was sweet , not dry, just right. Turned out the be a great night all around, we will be back!!
