Stopped by at 7 am, when they open, to get sandwiches for the day while in town. The drink machine had not been enabled, no brewed ice tea, much of the chip selection was in need of restocking and the vegetables were a little lackluster with bins half full. Service was sufficient but somewhat curt. The girl opening was clearly irritated we arrived when they opened and said as much when she had to clean the drink machine dispensers so we could fill our drinks. She said something along the lines of 'since you want drinks you will have to wait a few minutes because we just opened'. Most likely we will be trying the 24 Hour Pilot Subway up the road instead during the rest of our stay. $25 for sandwiches and attitude isn't what you expect at Subway. If you open at 7 am you should be able to order without issues. She did make the sandwiches to order.

WINGERS Restaurant is a great place for the whole family. Our restaurants are designed so children and adults alike can enjoy good food and fun. It's also a great spot to watch your favorite sports on the big screen with a variety of local and craft beers
Restaurant/bar/casino on the east end of Winnemucca, it was quiet during lunch on Thursday. Restaurant has table or booth seating. Restroom was clean but warmer than the rest of the building. Wingers has chicken as a specialty, but also has a variety of burgers and pulled pork. Good lunch specials. One of our party needed to make substitutions and it was done with a hassle. Husband has eaten here several times and loves their burgers. I can recommend the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. You choose one of eight(?) sauces for the chicken. Yummmm...

While on a whirl-wind road trip, we stopped in here to have breakfast based upon their "Steak and Eggs for $5.95" billboard along the highway. The food was great, there were only a handful of us in the restaurant at 8:30 a.m., and staff was busy cleaning the facility. Friendly staff but overall experience just "OK".

Main entrance and to the left through the Casino and greeted by hostess.Friday night special was thee Prime Rib 8oz. or 120z. Ordered same---allowed one trip to the salad bar---Med. Rare 8oz. arrived with larged baked Idaho spud, generous serving of sur cream, chives, and butter---Aujus---horseradish---the prime rib lookedvery large and at least 3/4 in. thick----Excellent meal......Noelle attended very nicely---however as usual, most folks don't know that just because a beer sounds like it is German, it may well be brewed in the USA.Sam Adams Octoberfest is not German. This is a family friendly dining experience---many children were there wit parents----smelled no smoke in the restaurant....however...transitioning from main entrance and back through the casino one has to endure second hand smoke.

Stopped here for lunch during our drive across Nevada. Food and service was really good. They have a nice variety on the menu. Tried the Chicken Fajita Taco Bowl and the Buckaroo Burger. Both were quite good. Service was friendly and attentive. We travel through here several times each year. This place is conveniently located across the street from our favorite breakfast place, which works well for future stayover trips.

Stopped in for a quick late lunch while passing through Winnemucca. The menu featured all the standard BBQ items i.e. puled pork, ribs, brisket etc. Service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We ordered pulled pork sandwiches and cole slaw. Since I was driving, I passed on the beer which I really wanted instead of the diet cola. Anyway the food came out quickly and proved to be quite tasty. There is an array of bbq sauces of various styles and degrees of spiciness. I tried a bit of each, and liked them all. I would not hesitate to stop in any time I'm passing through.

As a local I have been eating here since the 90's. There are only a couple items worth ordering (out of their already very small menu), like the salad bar which is what they are most famous for, and their soups. When you order steaks, be prepared to receive your steak not to your order, or your eggs either. The cooks struggle to make sure to send out your order at the desired done-ness and with no spices, so you'll have to add salt and pepper to your steak. Sometimes the food comes out over cooked, and sometimes completely raw. We ordered sunnyside up eggs yesterday for breakfast, which were completely raw. Most of the 'whites' of the eggs were completely runny, translucent and slimy, and not a solid white as they should be. The server asked us how the food was and I pointed out the raw eggs. She argued with me and told me that is what sunnyside eggs look like and that is what I ordered. I used a butter knife and shoveled all of the runny whites to show her. She still argued and said that if I wanted them cooked, that I should have ordered them basted and not sunnyside up. I tried to explain to her what 'sunnyside up' eggs mean, and that the whites should be cooked through and solid, not completely runny and raw, and that the yolk is what is supposed to be runny and orange, but she continued to argue so we had to get the manager. The manager was very rude and clearly bothered by the fact that she had to come to our table to help us. She asked us bluntly what our issue was without an introduction, and we showed her the runny, slimy eggwhites. She didn't apologize, but reached over and tried to grab the eggs from the plate and told us she would have them cooked longer. We told her there was no need because if she recooked the same eggs, they wouldn't be cooked 'sunny side up' the second time and that the yolk would probably be hard. She asked me, 'Well what do you want me to do then?'...anyways, long story shortened- bad service and undercooked, raw food. The manager was very obviously bothered by the fact that she had to come to our table. When she walked away, went and sat down at the booth next to us and started gossiping with her friends the whole time we were there. Sometimes the food is okay (if you know what to order), but the rest of the food is hit and miss.

I had ribs & beans and nachos. I liked the ribs a lot. The beans were bland. The nachos had no meat, but my husband shared his pulled pork and I put it on my nachos, which made them very good! My husband had ribs, pulled pork and tried tips. He said the tri tips did not taste smoked at all. He also liked the ribs and pulled pork and thought the beans were bland. He liked the Cajun rice too.
