First time here and it was really good. Service is excellent, the menu is rather large and the food was excellent... very large portions! My wife ordered the Dipity Do (French toast w ham and cheese in the middle) and she loved it. The right amount of sweet and salty.I ordered the Piggly Wiggly (stack of three pancakes and inside the pancakes was bacon and sausage). The pancakes were covered with powdered sugar, whipped cream and white cheddar cheese. Yes, cheese and the blend of flavors was as good as the Waiter said it would be.Well worth the wait in line!

We had a slight problem with the hostess being MIA for several minutes upon arrival but Devon noticed and apologized. The food was fantastic. The sausage onion pizza was delicious. Great selection of beer. Great happy hour options. Stephanie was our server and she took great care of us.We will definitely be back.

We had a birthday dinner here on Saturday night. My first time. Staff were great and they honored our reservation on time. The restaurant is pretty but we sat outside which was lovely. We ordered appetizers and liked what we ordered. The spicy tuna special on tempura battered eggplant was my favorite of the night. We also had a burrata/heirloom tomato salad on arugula, which was good. The entrees were all good: Mesquite grilled swordfish, Cioppino (probably the best of the entrees) and the roasted seafood. We had the cream filled donuts for dessert which were ok, but I probably would try something different next time. Which brings me to next time. There will definitely be a next time because there were too many items on the menu that we all wanted to try!

My wife and I frequent this restaurant as a couple or with friends for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Yesterday, we enjoyed brunch/lunch with a friend. My wife is still raving about the garden frittata, I had my usual lunch favorite (the butter leaf salad with grilled shrimp) with a glass of the Seaglass Pinot Grigio; our friend happily boxed up the rest of her shrimp linguini to take home. Our server (Yan) was friendly and attentive.

Over 20 years ago, three young entrepreneurs with a passion for food and a desire to make customers happy, came together with a simple idea: serve fresh, high quality, eclectic California inspired food for busy Angelenos. They would cook for those too bus
We just wished to get out to dinner and Marmalade Cafe is a nice, friendly casual venue with very fine food. I had turkey meatloaf with a tomato-based gravy with vegetables. Having been here before, given the portion size, I split it and took the other half home for lunch the next day---price was in the mid teens. My wife had a grilled veggie salad, added chicken. It too was huge and she also got a lunch out of it. This is a great place to get your fill, the staff is very courteous and efficient. Great for any meal!

Above all, this place is "adult" and classy. However it is expensive. Happy Hour for 2 with a jumbo shrimp dish, something else I've forgotten, and 4 glasses of HH cabernet came to $74 before tip. A bit much, and the wine was ordinary, and the amount in the glasses less than you would expect, or get elsewhere. The food on offer is good. I guess overall you get what you pay for but it ain't cheap.

Actually having been to the Pearl District in Portland many times, we found this restaurant even better than most. The appetizers were delicious. We shared the salt and pepper shrimp, lobster tempura and and pepper, brussels sprouts all of which were amazing. The venison was tender and so flavorful and the Malaysian spiced scallops were incredible. The szechuan hoisin sauce worked so well on the venison. Also the crispy skin branzino was moist and well prepared. The wine list is very reasonable and lots of great choices. And be sure to save room for deserts. The molten chocolate cake is totally decadent and our friend who is glutten free loved the panna cotta. So nice that this restaurant is family owned and not a chain since Westlake, Calabasa and TO are the land of mediocrity. No need to drive for an hour to the Westside with Pearl District this close!

The staff was polite and attentive. Food came out quickly and the server was present but not invasive. Food was well prepared and the wine list was both broad in scope and also relatively affordable. Location was convenient to several hotels and parking was easy. Also had a lively bar which would be a good spot to dine alone.
