Definitely mixed feelings about this place. The bison tips were pricey, tough and very small portion. The pot roast, veggies and potatoes were good. Salad bar was average. Highest tab for dinner on a month long vacation.

We had a party of 8 - all family with two kids, 5 and 3. We were seated in the bar/casino which was a little weird but we were hungry. The food was good but there were several drawbacks - the lighting made it hard to see the menus. We had to use the flashlights on our phones. The prices are high but it's West Yellowstone and that's how it is - it's a tourist town so you're going to pay more. The thing I disliked the most was that the waiter brought our food at two different times. The three of us who ordered soup as our main meal got served at least 25 minutes before the others were served. Waiting to eat with the rest of our family meant our food would be cold so we ate and then sat while the others ate their food. Not cool. A waiter should know to serve ALL the diners at the same time. Or at least serve the kids first - they waited 25 minutes for their mac and cheese. I fed them tastes of my soup so they wouldn't have to wait.We will choose a different restaurant next time we are in town. You are correct, if the server has been informed that the soup is your meal, it should have been brought out at the same time as the other meals. Weâll do a little re-education to the staff on this! Thanks for letting us know.

We had dinner here after a long day of driving. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We ordered a Black Angus Burger and their Monday Meatloaf Special as well as small pub salads. I liked that the cherry tomatoes were cut in half making them easier to spear. I had their Greek Feta Vinegrette dressing as they did not have an Italian dressing. It was excellent. My husband had Thousand Island and I canât speak to that. He said his burger was delicious and it appeared to be quite juicy as he needed additional napkins. My meatloaf was very flavorful except the ketchup topping was a bit sweeter than I would have liked. Beware that they served a mammoth piece which could easily feed two. Our French fries were deliciousâcrisp without being over done. Our waitress was really sweet and helpful but appeared to be stretched thin with many tables. But she was still attentive. I was surprised to read many reviews stating that the staff was rude. That was not our experience at all. We spent $41.00 for the two of us plus a tip so we were pushing $50 altogether. I only had water and my husband had ice tea (which she refilled without asking). We did not order any alcoholic beverages. We arrived about 5:30 and were seated right away but people started coming in steadily about 15-20 minutes later. My one big criticism is that they do not have a âdouble door air lockâ. Every time someone opened the door we got a blast of cold air â so try to sit in the back or further away from the door. I canât imagine how cold that must be when winter really sets in!We would go there again (and probably will tomorrow) but Iâd order something a little smaller than the meatloaf!

Mixed feelings about the Buffalo Bar. Itâs very noisy and chaotic with darts, pool, bar, casino and dining tables all in same area. The food, pot roast with mashed redskin potatoes and spaghetti pie were very good and was reasonably priced. Would recommend for food but not if you want a relaxing quiet dinner

In 1999, Wild West Pizzeria & Saloon set out to make the best pizza in town. It started as a little pizza place inside of Strozziâs Bar. Nearly two decades later, itâs grown into the Bar and Restaurant it is today with 120 seats and a great, small-town sp
Came for pizza and beer and ordered a large half and half Canadian / Sitting Bull. Great taste, full of toppings and we couldn't finish it. Bar is Steeler's territory and you can shoot pool as well. Good value for money, too! We came in on a Tuesday night and no trouble finding a table.

The Timberline Cafe is where western hospitality meets your grandmother's home cooking. We pride ourselves on the highest quality ingredients (Certified Angus Beef, anyone?) and made-from-scratch goodness on our soups, sauces, addicting hand-cut fries and
First of all to be fair the server was nice, however the food was horrible. It was nothing more that a heated TV dinner. I guess if you don't know how to cook you wouldn't know the difference. Terribly over priced for what it is. Avoid.
