Went here with a donor that I was meeting as he recommended this as a quiet and good value restaurant that had amazing food. While the service was very good and the restaurant was clean and quiet I wasnât overly impressed. The meal was good, not great...and the price was average. Maybe itâs because Iâm used to food and prices in NJ but this place seemed like a typical diner and for $33.00 for a lunch for two the pricing seemed average. But if youâre looking for a nice diner type menu in a quiet clean restaurant this place is perfect.

We are an American Bistro that specializes in freshly made pasta's, seafood, and steaks. We also offer a superb collection of wines, craft cocktails, and local beer!
When I looked at the menu I was very excited. We went with another couple. The short rib starter was good, but not amazing. We order white wine that was served warm. Everyone described their meal as just ok. I had the N.Y. strip which was over cooked. The potatoes risotto side dish tasted like shredded potatoes in a cream sauce. The service was good, but I donât see any of us going back. Disappointing for West Hartford for the cost.

Great atmosphere, lots of plants and cut flowers. Friendly and informed staff. So many choices for a vegetarian-usually I have about 3. My husband, the meat eater, had choices of meat dishes but stuck to vegetarian choices.Eggplant rollatini, could not believe there was not real cheese on it. Excellent.Lentil soup, salad, and falafel wrap was very good and very large.Full bar with specialty drink choices, we will be back!

First time here for a business lunch. Tried the Connecticut Lobster Roll. I wouldn't have minded paying the twenty dollars if it was good, but the Lobster meat was tasteless. I would try something else if I was to dine there again. Also, the restrooms need attention to cleanliness.

Good times, made locally. So we had this idea. That food can bring people together in a bunch of different ways. Neighbors with neighbors. Locals with local ingredients. And bourbon lovers with bourbons worth loving. In 2006, our idea became; b Restaurant
Went for lunch. Lovely hostess and server. The onion rings were like big crunchy bracelets served in a stack of four. Although we usually prefer our fried rings in shreds, these were pretty good. The special Mediterranean salad with a bed of tabbouleh, beets, tomatoes, a few veggies and a skimpy serving of shredded grilled beef was good, but not great, although the tabbouleh was the winner here. Cobb salad was well executed but bordered on run-of-the mill. Not exciting. The unsweetened ice teas were refilled without fuss and the waitperson was very personable. A very pleasant lunch. We'll have to go back for the burgers.

Vinted is a wonderful gem of a restaurant and bar located in the heart of West Hartford's shopping district. It's easy to access, and garage parking is available right around the corner (pay at a kiosk before exiting the garage). My family gathered for brunch last Sunday, and we had a wonderful time. There was a large group of us, so we made an advanced reservation, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The brunch menu was diverse and delicious. Not one person was disappointed with their meal. It was my first experience of eggs Benedict with lobster - delicious! The service was excellent, with only minor hiccups, as anyone could expect on a very busy weekend afternoon. I don't have a single complaint, and I would definitely return again.

Nestled on the pond in historic Elizabeth Park the Pond House is surrounded by gardens & offers four seasons of charm with a menu to match. Changed seasonally we offer eclectic comfort food that reflects the down to earth but playful spirit of our staff.
I have passed by this place on several occasions and even had gone to exhibits there, but this is the first time I ate there. It was a very pretty day and many had the same idea as my friend and I. Eating outside is first come, first serve. We had made reservations which are taken for eating inside or on the "open" porch which we did. A "tablet" is given to you as your menu where you can go over the specials and other offerings. Our server, Michael, was great and very helpful. We both chose the "Lady Astor" chicken salad sandwich on croissant which came with a chopped salad. We enjoyed it and our time to catch-up, relaxing at the restaurant. We both passed on dessert and left very satisfied.

We had a great experience this time around. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated before our reservation time. We had a great table location and our server (Jay) did an excellent job. His timing was impeccable, and he offered up a few things to do for our visit around the area of our hotel, and we went to one of them. We had a perfect date night dinner complete with a drink. I had a Main Filet Mignon and my wife had the Petite Filet Mignon, and we split a Caesar Salad, Roasted Rainbow Carrots, and the Chipotle Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese. The Filets were cooked as ordered and were delicious. The Mac and Cheese is to die for. The portions were plentiful, and we ended up taking some of the Mac and Cheese home. Unfortunately we didnât have room for desert on this trip. To make the evening complete we were able to meet Liz (the operating partner) and told her what a great job Jay had done. She was extremely personable, and we were lucky to have gotten a moment to say hello. A much better visit than our first time, and it was great to be able to write a more positive review. We will be back again in the near future. We are so happy to hear that you had such a wonderful experience with us here at Fleming's in West Hartford. Jay is one of our prized servers and does an amazing job! We understand there are many restaurants to choose from in West Hartford, and we thank you for joining us here and giving us another try. We look forward to your next visit with us!

The burgers here are always good, and other food on the menu never disappoints. However, when serving draft beer, why not serve it in pints? Every beer, except one, comes in smaller glasses. The prices are pint prices, but the glasses are all different and smaller than a pint. My family loves this place, but I like a nice pint with my burgers (just one). Iâm not a big fan of the one that actually comes in a pint glass, so I end up disappointed about that when we go. I keep going back, though, so Iâll raise a (smaller than a) pint to the good food!

I saw an email about some of the best lobster rolls around and Max's was the closest for me and my family. We were not disappointed at all. The location was great. The staff from the host to the guy that sat us to the waiter was top notch. Never having been there before, they made us feel welcome. A great experience for me and my family.
