Josephine's is a craft cocktail bar and kitchen tucked into an old homesteader cabin just a few miles from Glacier National Park. We were inspired by the incredible story of the 'Bootleg Lady of Glacier Park', Josephine Doody who operated a moonshine oper
The prime rib sandwich was very delicious, and so was the 3 mushroom burger was very delicious. The poutine was tasty. The service was not so great, and they were out of several things by the time we got there. Thanks so much for the great review. Sorry to hear you were disappointed that we were out of a few things - you caught us on our last day open for the season. Hopefully you can come back next summer and try what you missed this time around.
This is a lovely large log cabin house (they also have two rooms to rent). Located on a hill off highway but dining areas are very quiet. Nice, large patio area with bar for outside dining. Home made food and desserts. Reasonable prices.
Eat lunch near Glacier Park surrounded by history and scenery in our Montana Cafe. Meals are served in our antique Great Northern Railway caboose, conveniently located in West Glacier, Montana just outside the entrance to Glacier National Park. During you
We stopped by on our way out of the park to grab a beer and something to eat. It was nice and relaxing being able to sit out on the deck looking at the mountains rather than having to sit inside. Kayla served us and was super helpful and friendly.

From afternoon until about 7 pm, they have a buffet. One the day we were there it included three different kinds of pizza, plus two kinds of pasta (one with white sauce, the other red) and a pretty decent salad bar. Drinks include free refills and you can serve yourself.

This local watering hole is a great place to let loose after a long day exploring Glacier National Park. Fredaâs is a full service bar with plenty of local flavor.
Interested in getting some lunch but knowing this would have tourist trap prices, we stopped here. The prices did not surprise. This is a cafe, so there's nothing fancy about it. The server was fast and friendly, the most you can ask. The prices were high - $13-15 for a â lb hamburger and fries - but the food was very good and filling. If this was the only place to dine in the area, I would go back, but with the prices as they are, I would try to find somewhere else.

Basic diner and pretty much the only game there. Service was quick, food ok for what it is. The ice cream outside is the highlight.

We welcome you to Glacier National Parks West Entrance as we have welcomed visitors for over sixty years. The restaurant and other West Glacier Mercantile buildings were constructed in 1938 at the junction of the Going to the Sun Road and US Highway 2. We
A burger and fries was way overpriced and the burger was tiny. The cafe has lost much since it was owned by the Lundgrens and GPI is clearly exploiting the location

Meh. We were seated for 15-20 minutes before anyone came over to acknowledge us. Just about ready to walk out when our waiter came over. The waiter had zero idea what the beers on tap were so I had to just tell him, "Just whatever IPA you have". You would think he would have gone and looked or knew what he was bringing me after...nope. Food was nothing special. I had a burger, my girlfriend had the meatloaf. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to write home about. I'll say the pie was fantastic though. Bill was close to $90 for a few drinks and meal. Definitely not worth the price. We went up the road to another upper scale restaurant the next day and had a delicious meal, drinks for less than this. Wouldn't recommend.

We stayed at the Belton Chalet for several nights, and dined twice in the Grill/Dining room. Earl James Reynold's (the Chef) creations were superbly prepared and delicious, from the creative appetizers/starters to the yummie deserts (huckleberry ice cream with huckleberry sauce). As a serious foodie, the meals were consistently excellent. Again, kudos to the Chef.
