Things to do in Wellsville
Pretty good food but have been to better subways, the main thing that makes the difference is the lack of "freshness" in the rolls and the toppings that you get in other locations.
We stopped by because I read a little online when checking out Wellsville. A couple of reviews on different sites were good and we had a bit of time before a show at the Wellsville Creative Arts Center and stopped in. Boy were we glad we did. I really llke the inside, it's comfortable and it's a sports bar. There are sports jerseys hanging, other sports decor. There are a number of TV's. The beer was cold. The girls bathroom was clean. And the french fries were good. We went back after our show to watch some of the NCAA Basketball tournament. It had a decent crowd. People were so very friendly both times we went. I will DEFINITELY go back when in Wellsville - which will be soon. We LOVED the Arts Center for seeing a band. Good place for a drink and they do serve food. We plan on ordering more than fries next time.Oh yeah. We had arrived a bit too early for our reservations for the show. We just wanted to scope out the concert room and when we told the gentleman at the Arts Center where we were going, he said "Oh! Great choice!". He's a local from Wellsville - good compliment for the Better Days Pub and Eatery!
A wonderful place and beautiful decorated dining room. An 18 hole golf course set in charming Wellsville, The waiter Jeffery was very attentive, polite and knowledgeable. Every thing we ordered was delicious. The menu was a broad choice of selections. Fresh single stem roses on each table.
This place is GREAT!!!!! Food, coffee, beer, wine, and MUSIC (arts too)I can only describe this as a coffeehouse, restaurant that has bands play on the weekends. My husband and I went there to see a band we really like. We were soooooo pleased we are looking to go back as soon as we can. The actual name is Art Center Café.Itâs a good size room, but small enough so that it is intimate setting to see a band. There maybe are 100 people or so. You sit at tables so you can enjoy food and drinks. The sound was great. No matter where you are you are close so you can see all of the band members and their expressions. You can reserve a table there â which we did and it turned out great â but you donât have to and you will STILL have a great seat.We got extremely lucky. We made reservations kind of early (our first time there, wasnât sure how the seating was and wanted a good seat). We were able to see the band warm up a little. Then they got down off the stage and were standing around. We were able to talk to them, and got them to sign our CD. During the show they took a break to get coffees. Then they mingled a bit. Another huge plus about seeing a band at a place like this is you actually get a chance to talk with the band members. I find them all so nice, they arenât huge successful so they are still âreal peopleâ and willing to talk and mingle. You arenât able to do that in a huge arena. They serve coffee, beer (microbrewery beers â no huge brand names) and wine (you can actually order a whole bottle to share through the evening). We did order food. They have wraps, paninis, some pasta dishes, pizza, salads, burgers. I had a wrap and my husband had a pasta â YUM! You order drinks and food at the counter. They give you your drinks, but bring you your food. I absolutely LOVE this place. GREAT place to see a band. The people are soooo nice.Stop in to see a band, or just eat and enjoy some hot drinks or adult beverages at the café. We did walk by earlier in the day and they are open.

Our family dined here during the Wellsville Balloon Rally. Please arrive early because the restaurant fills up quickly. Needless to say, thereâs lots of choice beef topped with horseradish. This hit the spot and we will return for another round!

The Duke House is a fine dining restaurant, tea room and bakery housed in a beautifully restored 1850's Greek Revival home in Wellsville, NY. We offer luncheon, formal tea service in the afternoon and dinner in the evening. We offer freshly baked scones,
The location is quaint in an old residential house reborn as a restaurant. The ambiance is lovely and the food is wonderful. Only downside is the service is extremely slow. 45 minutes for drinks to arrive is pretty bad- especially when it was only wine. The actual food wasn't served until the 2 hr mark passed. While the meal was delicious, I would consider eating a snack prior to going again.Thank you Holly for your review and I apologize that you experienced slow service. All our meals are prepared to order so if we are busy it can take a while. That being said, it should not have taken that long for wine. Please email me directly [email protected] and I will make it up to you. I am glad you enjoyed your dinners!

You just canât go wrong here! The dogs were great, the fries with gravy were delicious and the milk shakes were creamy and thick. They had lemon meringue pie, my favorite, but I was too full to try any. Definitely there will be pie next visit.
