Green Goat is the lunch restaurant venture of the owners of two other restaurants on the same block. There is a sit-down place, a burger place and this is a small place--8 or 9 tables--which offers freshly made soups salads and sandwiches from 11:30AM-3 PM every day. I had come with owner of a local yoga studio. The preparation is very good and the choices are interesting. I had a greens gumbo made from a spicy Louisiana roux base with several different types of greens incorporated into it. A very good vegetarian effort. I also had a sandwich with hummus, avocado, feta, and several other ingredients and it also was delicious. There were several interesting salads on offer including one with roasted vegetables, a potato salad, a house made cole slaw and a number of others. Ingredients are all fresh and made each day. There are several vegetarian choices, which is not always the case in small town restaurants. The service was friendly. They seem to know everyone in town. And the place was busy as long as we were there, whether people were eating lunch there or buying something to go. When I am back in this area I would definitely go back.
Its refreshing to eat some where that offers FRESH made meals from scratch that are organic and non-gmo/processed. Atmosphere was elegant and peaceful, service extremely friendly. We found a new place for Sunday brunch!Bliss is a wine bar that offers FROM SCRATCH meals on Wednesday evenings and brunch on Sundays. Highly recommended, family friendly we have a 4yr old...service, meals & pricing were great for organic dining!
"We are a downhome great BBQ smokehouse and cafe serving a wide variety of meat and homemade meals from scratch. Very diverse menu with authentic BBQ (including a variety of homemade sausage), deli sandwiches, pastas, rice dishes, cuisines from around the
We ordered dinner via delivery from Little Rock Stock Cafe in Wauconda/Barrington area and it was big disappointment. Would not recommend for barbecue or delivery. Overpriced, poor entrees and sides. Half slab of ribs are expensive, dry and fatty. No sauce on side. The side dish was a greasy plastic tin of peppers with slice of dry toast. Many better area restaurants for dining in, delivery and carry out for ribs and barbecue. Not a fan and we will not be back.

A nice combination of good views, good vibe and good food. Try and get a window table or eat outside. The service was friendly, the menu of good size and the food was hot and in good quantity.

Stopped in here with family after a school event to get a later dinner. Friendly, accommodating staff. Food was hot, fresh, and tasty. There's a family friendly dining room separate from the bar area and a private area for parties. Nice list of specials and good pub food. Would come again when in the area.

Love this place, they are always soo pleasant and accommodating. We have held a few private brunches here and they were on time with the food (which was fresh and yummy) prepared for our party and extremely patient with the any demands.

We came here with another couple to celebrate our anniversary. We didn't want a big heavy meal, so the tapas were perfect. We shared BBQ Meatballs, Seared Ahi Tuna with Ginger Sauce, Smoked Salmon Rollups, and the Cheddar and Beer Fondue. All were wonderful, but next time we go back we will definitely have the tuna and salmon dishes again!Great ,friendly service and an amazing drink menu made for a nice evening. Add in the live music, and it's one more thing to love about Wauconda!

Good and bad: First the good. Vanessa, our server, was awesome. 16 oz. prime rib cut excellent. Appetizers of calamari and bang bang shrimp awesome. Now the bad. Menu in restaurant not even close to matching items in online menu. 12 oz. prime rib cut not good. Overcooked. Mashed potatoes room temperature. Broccoli room temperature. All in all, not worth the price paid.

Our excellent server John, helped make our first visit definitely not our last. Food was fantastic and they went above and beyond in accommodating an additional dish I wanted to take home, tailoring it to my want! Corned Beef and Cabbage was exactly what I'd been jonesing for and was extremely generous in portions and most delicious! Took home a lamb stew Shepherd's Pie that is to kill for! My companion had the regular Shepherd's Pie, which is one of the best I've ever had. Great selection of draught brews and bottles, and wine.We sat out on the front Porch with a view of the street and people watched while having lunch. Great experience, and we will definitely return!!

Bulldogs has a amazing number of great choices to choose from! The food they serve is delicious! You choose from a huge chalkboard menu on the wall, it's very colorful with different chalk colors. Look on the ceiling & you see pictures of some of their creations! The ambiance is 50's looking. More tables are in rear of restaurant, ( man cave), with posters of actors & decoration from 40's on! A fun place to eat with amazing & delicious food choices!
