Breakfast is served 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Serving fresh made hash browns, sausage gravy and biscuits, omelets and a fresh cup of coffee. Known for our awesome Broasted Chicken, fresh made hamburgers and our own homemade onion rings. Our menu also includes
We were staying across the way at the Holiday Inn, and wanted some late evening drinks. As we walked in, there was the smell of cooking oil. Broasted chicken on the menu so there's where the smell is coming from. Ordered some drinks, chicken and a small pizza. Drinks were over priced, chicken was hot but no flavor, no seasoning at all, and pizza was under cooked. One of the owners was tending bar and not very friendly and kinda gruff. We wont be spending our money here next time we come into town. This is one of those occasions where service makes or breaks an experience. Russ, being one of the owners should take some lessons on customer service.

First visit to LJâs while visiting Waterloo. Enjoyed! Variety of menu items. Prices on their daily specials were good. Some other prices on the menu seemed a bit high for a small local establishment. Good size portions. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. They didnât mind that we sat and visited for several hours so thank you! Wouldnât hesitate to return.

A stage for live music and neat decor all over. Kind of a biker bar feel to it. I had the breaded chicken sandwich for $9.00. It was pretty tasty. Decent menu selection. I would return

Our 20 BBL BrewHouse resides within a wonderfully renovated facility. Featuring a traditional Beer Hall and Beer Garden for those craving a social dining experience, as well as a dining room for what us Iowans would consider typical dinner seating.
SingleSpeed is one of our favorites in Waterloo. We get there pretty regularly. The burgers and tacos are really good. Last time we stumbled on the wings. And we are hooked. They are big and flavorful. Some of the best we've had anywhere. I'm kind of surprised but it is true. The beer selection is good but as others have noted it would be nice if they rotated in some guest brews and they have gotten just a little too into the sour trend. The vibe is cool and I'm looking forward to warmer weather so we can check out the outdoor space.

Ate here on a busy Friday night.Good service, but none of the food really stood out. The homemade rolls and tartar sauce and salad dressings tasted just like every other restaurants'. The Walleye sandwich was equal amounts fish and breading. So no problems, nothing bad at all, but a very unremarkable meal.

Looking for a steak and selected LongHorn. There is adequate parking. Walked in and were greeted by a hostess who escorted us to a booth. Our server arrived soon, collected our drink order and returned with drinks and hot bread and butter. We both ordered 6 oz Renegade with baked potato and vegetables. Steaks were cooked to order and were tender and delicious.

This is 1000 times better than my last breakfast, even though the small diner is packed to the gills they still make room for you. They should have a hotline to everybody that wants to order food because the phone never stops ringing. As others have said itâs cash only, which is no problem at all you come with cash! There is no less than four ladies working the grill all at the same time. Fixing your orders right in front of you.Service you would think would be lacking from all the anarchy, but now itâs personal like youâre the only one in there. You canât put a price on friendly! Now about the food fresh delicious and hot!It does take a little bit of time to get your order, but itâs well worth it. Speaking of worth it my meal of a meat lovers omelette hash browns and toast and a pot of tea was $11.89! Cheep!Donât be a chump check this place out, or youâll be missing out of a very good thing.Go!

My husband and I will always return to Newton's. The food is outstanding-you've got to see the size of their tenderloins! We've tried several different dishes and liked all of them. The staff are very helpful and prompt. Atmosphere is wonderful. The place is small but we've always gotten seats. Don't change a thing, Newton's!
