Legendary Food, Legendary Service
Syerra was an awesome waitress. Checked on us more than any waitress in recent memory. Even the assistant manager checked on us. When she saw us winding down our meal, she was ready with the bill and carry out boxes. Much appreciated service. My wife and I both had small sirloin steaks. Both cooked exactly as ordered. They were good.We were passing through town on vacation. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely consider returning.

We went to Buford's Kitchen for breakfast the morning following my daughter's wedding at a local hotel. The server was wonderful; he was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and you get large portions. Leftovers went home with us! There is also a bar and I had a Bloody Mary, which was very good. I think the Mimosa my daughter-in-law had was disappointing because it was very small compared to other ones I've seen. It was our first time there, but I would definitely go back again for the food. Breakfast is served all day which is a plus I think we have found a new place to go for breakfast..

The ambiance of the restaurant was special in that the owner sought to keep an old inn atmosphere with smaller rooms. We had ten people for graduation in a semiprivate space, which allowed for easily heard conversation. All of our meals received rave reviews from the fabulous Caesar Salad with horse radish to a variety of pasta and fish dishes. There was one concern that a filet was not rare enough.Service was attentive without hovering.Enjoy!

Long-running Pittsburgh-born chain known for sandwiches piled high with coleslaw & french fries.
The thought behind this was that you didn't have to put your sandwich down to eat your fries. You are going to need plenty of napkins and something to drink though. The sandwich shop chain started way back in 1933 by three brothers in Pittsburgh's Strip District, and now has 39 locations across 6 states. For my first ever outing to a Primanti Brothers restaurant, I chose to visit the Washington, PA location near The Meadows Racetrack & Casino around 3PM on a Sunday.I was seated at one of the high top tables in the bar area where I could see many big screen TVs overhead each tuned to a different sporting event. Robert provided me with good service. I got a Two Hearted Ale ($6) from Bell's Brewery on draft and a Tall Boy - PB Reuben ($10.49) sandwich. This sandwich was huge, and served to me with a steak knife sticking out the middle of it. The Primanti Brothers sandwiches are unique in that they put the french fries as a topping inside of them. The first thing I did was take the provided knife and cut the sandwich right down the middle. I was only able to finish one half of it, and took the rest in a container with me to go.

Best place in Washington, PA for steaks. Pricey, but unlike a lot of places, the portions are huge. Steaks are incredible, and always cooked exactly how you order them. The atmosphere is upscale but not stuffy or pretentious. The staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly.

This was our last night of vacation, and we needed to find somewhere great to eat. This was the place. Excellent tap beer selection. My wife had the honey Mushroom Swiss burger and I had the limey chicken wrap. Both were delicious. Service was perfect. Nice atmosphere.

We visited with 6 couples after a day of golf. We are all from the Youngstown area and someone local suggested this restaurant. They were very accommodating to our party of twelve and the servers were great. The food!!! WOW! Everything was fantastic. Some of the foods our group tried were: fried zucchini, stuffed peppers, pepperoni rolls, linguini arrabiatta, veal piccata, seafood pasta. Everything was delicious! All meals were brought out at the same time and all were served fresh and hot. If If we are ever in the Washington, PA area in the future, this will be a must visit!

It is impossible to know by looking at it from the outside that you're in for an excellent dining experience. The staff and servers are warm and welcoming, but when the food starts coming it goes from a good to an incredible experience. The friendly staff were awesome at making recommendations and, even though we were first-timers, feel very at home. I loved the Ruben balls and my chicken piccata was outstanding. If you're on the road between Pittsburgh and Morgantown it's a little off of the beaten path, but well-worth the detour.
