Wow! What a great place. Food was excellent, service tremendous and then we were given wonderful ideas of things to do in Colorado. Meals consisted of BLT (bacon was tasty), buttermilk chicken sandwich, cowboy cheeseburger, turkey and bacon melt. For sides we had the German fries (which was a whole potato sliced and cooked with onions and regular fries. What a wonderful and filling lunch. But don't follow GPS if you have an "Apple" product. It's hidden behind a gas station on the north side of the interstate not south side.

Hotel recommended and place didnât look that promising outside. But waitress so nice and menu so appealing. Catfish and liver and onions? Classics I frequently encountered. Baked goods available (cookies!). Supposed to get discount for cash but I didnât. No big deal since meals affordable.

Excellent service, family operated, definitely a back roads of America treasure. We had chicken and KC Strip, reasonable prices, eclectic decor and settings. Elaine was fantastic server, and kept up with the whole bar restaurant. Food was great. When you walk in you will understand why they are located across from elm the North Pole play area.
