We ate dinner on a Friday night at Parea. There was no wait at 6:30 - unheard of at a downtown restaurant. Our server was very nice and the service was excellent. We started with calamari as an appetizer. It was ok - not the best we've ever had but not the worst either. I had the grouper with lemon rice soup. The soup was good and the grouper was good, too. Good beer selection. We may go back at some point in time but not too soon. Many other better choices in Valparaiso, in my opinion.

Recommended by friends and I'm so glad we went. All 4 of us cant wait to come back. Excellent service, appetizers, meals. My husband is super picky and he never complained once. Miracles do happen. We've tried all the higher ranked restaurants and we weren't impressed. This restaurant should be #1.

Good food, good drinks, good service. Feeling a little saucy? Maybe provocative? Aj's has the perfect pizza to suit your taste.

We started with the super sized cinnamon roll plenty for 4. My favorite eggs Benedict and awsome breakfast skillets.

Round the Clock is favorite of many local residents of Valparaiso and the surrounding towns in Porter County. The owners are constantly seeing that the restaurant's decor is updated and inviting. The menu is revised regularly. I have seldom not seen people waiting to be seated. The food portions are generous and the menu is extensive. My wife and I generally eat at Round the Clock 4 to 5 times a year. The food is well prepared and the service is good. Daily specials, a Senior's, and Children's menu are available. The atmosphere is very appropriate for families and is quiet enough for those who want to carry on a conversation with family or friends. Coupons for those looking for extra savings are also found on grocery receipts. For a moderately priced restaurant with good food in downtown Valparaiso you can't go wrong eating at Round the Clock!

There are an ever increasing number of upscale burger places around, but very few take such care in higher quality beef combined with the accoutrements. I have tried many offerings and found each one to be superb. My current favorite is the Baton Rouge with butter lettuce, andouille sausage, shrimp, white cheddar, a remoulade topping and onions. It is a riot of flavor!....Their fries come in individual 'fry baskets' and are the best in town. There is an adequate wine list and a decent selection of craft beers. Weather permitting, there is a pleasant outdoor seating area. We have only one bad experience to report with a server who 'forgot' us when we were seated outside, but this is the exception. Most servers have been excellent. The inside seating is a bit insufficient for the quality of food....expect a wait during busy times. However, you'll find it well worth it.

I was here with about 80 people from an organized road tour of the great Lincoln Highway. The food was good and the service attentive even though one of the entree choices - chicken breasts - wasnât served until others had finished their fish or pot roast. Watch the large gauge railroad go by in the ceiling tracks and the tv had loops appropriate to the real industrial revolution such as Ford and Edison. A fun place. Good food.

We have visited in the past and had excellent service and food. Today we ordered the portobello mushroom which was only mediocre in taste. There were not enough appetizer dishes. The soup was cold and sent back. Brought back warm not hot. The prime rib was sent back because it was not cooked to order. It came back and still was not cooked to order. We give up. Wonât return.

A group of us went for a girls' night dinner on a weekday evening. We had a blast! The service was great and the food was AMAZING! We ordered a few appetizers to all try and we devoured them. We each had so much food for our dinner order we could barely put a dent in them. The dessert and drinks put it over the top! We cannot wait to go back! Not only do they have a great selection on the menu, but they have specials that frequently change with lots of new products to try.
