Chez Joe

Tried this place as it was ranked top of Champéry: it must be a special place, I thought. Burgers are ok, but nothing special as you would expect from all positive reviews. For my taste too much mayo, greasy and wet bun.Honestly an average burger place with additional note that you have to wear a jacket while eating because it’s cold (not sure if they have a heating system or if they count to warm up the place only by cooking and having people inside...).Surely there are better places around and won’t go there again.

Went there with a couple of friends and this is definitely the place to go in the area. You get a wide range of choices between the beef/salmon/chicken or the vegetarian burger. I've had a beef burger and this is crazy how tastefull it is, there is simply no comparison possible with all other fast food brands. They really focus on the quality of food, so for those of you who "think different" and seek an alternative, you have to try it!I liked the place, a well decorated bar, very nice atmosphere and a friendly staff. I've tried the cheesecake and this is why this restaurants deserves a 5-star because it seemed as if I was eating in a Cheesecake Factory ! Cheers

Auberge de Chindonne

L’Auberge de Chindonne c'est un charme de « chalet suisse » irrésistible, des fondues et autres spécialités suisses faites maison, une terrasse panoramique et une place de jeux.

We stayed at Auberge Chindonne while walking the Tour des Dents du Midi. The refuge was quiet as it was very early season and weather conditions were challenging. Everything about the refuge was excellent, great bar/restaurant area with excellent food, very comfortable warm room and good showers. The manager and his colleagues were extremely welcoming.

Globe-Trotter

We ate at the Globe-Trotter at least five times (primarily because it was very close to the ski school and our kids were ravenous after skiing for the morning). The food was good. The only downside was that it was pretty expensive (although to be expected at a ski resort) and service was a little slow when the ski crowds came in.
