Only negative was the lack of parking, had to park a block away.Service was fantastic, I wish I could remember our waitressâs name. She was as pleasant as could be.We shared appetizers which were recommended. Everyone enjoyed their entrees.Definitely would return.

I had breakfasted at Somewhere in Time, the sister restaurant of When Pigs Fly located on the Goldstar Highway in or near Groton. It was excellent each time I'd been there. This trip, I am staying in Waterford, CT where When Pigs Fly is located. I had to try it. Like the first place, you get your own coffee from the variety they offer. Grab a mug and pour your own. I had the organic dark roast which was very good. Then you sit and order from a virtually identical menu (one item is different from Somwhere in Time). The servers share tips and it appears each tries hard to hold up their end of it. They're friendly, efficient, remember you, and seem genuinely sincere in their "Welcome back"!There are other places in the area that specialize in breakfast. I've tried several including Sweeties in New London and The Shack in Waterford. The food at each is good. But, the overall experience at When Pigs Fly and Somewhere in Time was better for me than the other places. Prices are pretty much the same at all of them.

I visited this establishment today, and...to be honest....I think people should be aware of what they're about to get into if they are planning on visiting it.
We ate breakfast here and it was good. Went back for supper. the menu is huge and should cover any kind of food you would want. Both times our waitress's needed improvement. Our breakfast waitress would disappear for long periods. We actually got up to leave and she finally showed up. The supper waitress was not friendly at all and passed up my empty glass several times. Food was just ok.

A warm and welcoming country style diner right off one of the many roads we found this cute restaurant. Next door is another building, country store. When you walk in (watch your step), you walk into a small country store filled with pies, desserts and much more. To the right is counter seating and in back is table seating. We sat at a table and got our coffees. So many choices to choose from and more specials on the wall. I choose the sun dried tomato, bacon, spinach and cheddar cheese omelette. Which was amazing. The flavors all wrapped together nicely. I also got a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy which were outstanding. The biscuits were moist and the gravy packed with bursts of flavor. My friend had the pancakes which he liked. This place has lots to offer and a MUST TRY!! Don't miss this place!! All the staff we encountered were very pleasant.Thank you so much for the great review!! We are happy you enjoyed and hope to see you again soon!!Thanks again!Ellen

The wait to get in was quite long on our last visit, so maybe think about eating off hours on weekends, We had our usual hamburgers and fries. They were as usual; good flavor, 1/4" formed patties. Our server was very pleasant and efficient, under the trying circumstances of an unexpectedly huge crowd of diners and too few servers.

Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Late Night as well as Brunch. Enjoy comfort food with a twist!
This chain restaurant is legendary for its ecclectic twist on old favorites. The portions are huge, and the menu is pretty diverse, with offerings that will suit every taste. I have had the pleasure of eating at 2 other locations and have never been disappointed. This time however, I began the dining experience frustrated about the slow wait and disorganized hostess station. My sister and I chose Hash House over several other options in the resort. We were initially told it would be a 20 minute wait. We were still waiting after 35 minutes, along with several other parties. It was clear that the other parties were also frustrated, as we were all trying to grab dinner before a concert. The hostess informed us that the staff were overwhelmed with an influx of large parties, although there were many empty tables visible inside the restaurant. Only when the manager came to question the hostess were we finally seated. Our server Trish saved the day with her prompt service and friendly attitude. She hustled to get our order, bring drinks, and check on us throughout the meal. The food was fantastic, as always. Huge portions, fresh taste, and over the top presentation. Perhaps the staff was just having an "off" night. If you do decide to try this place, I recommend giving yourself a little extra time. And, try the chicken and waffles. So Good!

Restaurant within Mohegan Sun Casino and resort
I started with their onion and ale soup. Very good! I had the Rueben and my wife had the chicken sandwich. Food was served promptly and hot. Good quality. Many kinds of beer as you would expect. Waitress was especially pleasant and sincere. We would go back again.

Jordan's 23 Sportcafé offers great food while surrounding guests with silk screens that feature national sports programming. Try the BBQ Chicken Spring Rolls or Chilled Shrimp Martini, âKnife & Forkâ Ribeye Steak Sandwich, Baby Back Ribs with Brown Sugar
There are lots of great restaurants at the Mohegan sun but one of my favorites is always to come to the Michael Jordan's Cafe. The appetizers are all great and the salmon and filet mignon entrees are excellent. Tonight we had our favorite waitress here Kim she always has a great attitude and brings the food nice and hot.Hi!Thank you for taking the time to write us such a great review. We really appreciate the great feedback! So happy to hear that Kim was able to take care of you! We hope to see you again soon!

Made a reservation for 8:30pm. When we got to hostess stand asked if there was a possibility of getting a booth. They told us in just a few minutes they could certainly do that. Well the couple at the table we were getting paid their bill and decided to stay for another almost 30 minutes. The restaurant was extremely busy. Not the restaurantâs fault that this couple was a little inconsiderate. The good news is, the food was absolutely delicious. We had the porterhouse steak, mashed potato medley for our meal. For an app, my husband got the Lobster bisque, which was delicious and I had a wedge salad. Extremely good salad. My husband had a jalapeño watermelon margarita and I had a regular mojito. Someone really knows what they are doing at the bar!!! This restaurant is not cheap!! We had a gift certificate which helped immensely. But I have to say, for a treat maybe once a year, this place is top notch!!We were happy to read you enjoyed your stay at Michael Jordan's.It's always nice to hear that we are meeting expectations. We'll let the bar know they make a nice drink. The booth seating here is worth the wait.Thank You.
