Listed on the subway search engine. Thanks
We picked up a Meatball foot-long to split. We had spinach, black olives, and green peppers put on for other toppings. Each half had 2 meatballs and the bread became soggy quickly. One of the meatballs on my half dropped out, the bread gave way so quickly. The sandwich tasted good but there wasn't much on it.

My spouse and I have frequented this establishment several times. Food is always reliably good and service is friendly but they always seem to be one staff member short of offering timely service. If not in a rush, this is a great local place to catch a good meal and cheap drinks.

Having dinner out with our good friends from Florida, we chose a place with a lake view. Our waitress Sara was amazing. It's people like her that can elevate and enhance your visit. The food was great, the fish was delicious ( a local favorite walleye fish) it was delicate and paired with a lovely glass of pinot gregio...The dining room had a massive woodsy feel, yet very homeylike cabin in the great Northwoods of Minnesota, very impressive place . We will return real soon.

My wife and I have owned a cabin near two Harbors for over 15 years. This town needed a nice restaurant and now we have one. McQuade's is a hidden gem off the main Highway 61, right in Downtown Two Harbors. The interior is quaint, the music is old school and pleasant. Frank McQuade, the owner/bartender is very friendly and also owns the coffee house/spice shop at the other end of the block.. Many of the signature cocktails are mixed with regional, top shelf spirits and very well made. We have been here over ten times now... and chef Todd has never disappointed us. On our latest experience... my wife had the NY strip steak with compound butter, mashed potatoes and asparagus and enjoyed every perfectly cooked bite. I had the brie and apple pork tenderloin with honey sweet potatoes and asparagus. It was so good... I made "yummy noises" and got the attention of the couple sitting next to us. This place is not top be missed... we will definitely be back!

We enjoy Bison Burgers when offered in restaurants. Blackwoods were very good. We each had one. And Evan (Server 452) was very good with our table of five for lunch. Not being from the area we had not eaten at a Blackwoods before. We would go back to this one if ever in the vicinity.

7 am on a Saturday heading back to Cities after a week up north and needed breakfast for 3+ hour drive. Vanilla Bean looked inviting and it was .... and it was busy! The one server (who usually doesn't open) was working non-stop as people kept coming and coming! She was friendly, smiling and somehow managed to stay on top of it all.Great menu, good variety of breakfast choices including selections with wild rice. The poached eggs, quality of which I find are hit and miss, were absolutely perfect. Lingonberry jam excellent. Don't miss this gem when you're on US61.

We stopped by in the middle of the afternoon and as first time visitors were pleased with the coffee and lemon bars, but more importantly the owners and the wait staff were friendly and spent time visiting with us. It's a unique place to stop for coffee as they also have books, quilts and other things for sale.
