The Elkins Lake Clubhouse is the nicest restaurant in town (The Homestead is more intimate and romantic but also very rustic, not modern and classy like Elkins).All of the food we have had has been excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. For people who live in the neighborhood, the convenience is the best part.Note that it is a members only (and invited guests) club.

The salad bar is well stocked and fresh, for me beets are always a good sign, the chicken strips were moist with a crispy coating. Everything was well seasoned and the service is very good. Portions are very generous

Great Buffet, okay service. Dirt parking lot. Huge facility if you need to host Special Events. Restrooms are definitely Below Par. Unless the ladies have Redneck DNA, they will try and "hold it" before using the restroom. Joseph is a great guy, when there, and the place is full of "Regulars".

The food was hot. The service was good and very attentive to our order. My one issue was that the pieces of chicken seemed small. We will probably go back.

I'd recommend the daily specials but you can certainly order from the menu too. This is a no-frills, down to earth local restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick. We were driving through and glad we stopped - would do so again when going through Trinity.
