We took a large family group here for breakfast and everyone was pleased with their choices of eggs or pancakes or simple breakfast sandwiches. The kids especially go crazy over the chocolate chip pancakes and french toast. Portions are good sized and reasonably priced. Service was quick and friendly. Go early to get a seat!

We went here to have lunch with some friends one of who has some fairly complicated dietary restrictions. She was able to order a great lunch without too much trouble. My wife and I ordered burritos and split a bowl of the chili. The burritos we good and the portions were generous to say the least. The chili had a a name that implied it was very hot, âSpitting Venom Chili.â The chili was very good but did not live up to the name. If you were expecting five alarm chili this was not it. The service was good, counter service only. The dining area was clean and well appointed. Chairs were comfortable and we didnât feel crowded or packed in at all. The only strange thing that struck me was when I paid for our food at the time of order the software for their point of sale system wanted me to input a tip amount. I found this odd because no service or any kind had yet been provided and we had not received any food. I selected the 0% option. There was a tip jar on the counter for receiving tips post purchase. We travel this way often and will return to 86 This again. Recommended for all ages and most palettes.

Seasonal restaurant specializing in fresh seafood, served on the banks of the historic Union River in Downtown Ellsworth. We pride ourselves on our traditional Downeast fare crafted with care and served with a smile.
We found this place on TripAdvisor. The only thing I can say good about the place is it had a nice view and the service at our table was good. We were beyond disappointed in the food. Worst lobster on our entire vacation (and we ate a lot of lobster). Two of us ordered the lobster and both were way, way over cooked. My spouse ordered fish tacos which was supposed to have Cajun seasoning. The fish was cooked fine but she said she couldnât taste any seasoning and the sauce was not good either in our opinion. What a let down.

My husband and I stopped here because we could see the locals liked it. They were busy but not so hurried in order to welcome you and talk. We received excellent service and a breakfast meal second to none. Eggs were cooked as we asked and the fresh baked bread was a bonus to our enjoyment. Yes we went for another breakfast and will go again when we visit. Recommend it for folks who enjoy breakfast like your Mom served.

my husband got a super sub from this place and it had 4 slices of meat on it. It was not a super sub. Another friend got a "giant " sub and it had about 3 slices of meat on it. The people are rude and the subs are not good.

The place was highly recommended to us. It is kind of out in the woods. But GPS should get you there with no trouble. Needless to say: Great food and service! The prices are reasonable as well. Lobster: fresh and sweet. Good size.Coleslaw: no mayo, sweet and a bit tangy. Pickle-like. Just the way I like it. Corn on the cob: so yummy!Mac and cheese with lobster: oh so good! Not much else for the kids other than small chicken tenders and burgers. If you don't like seafood, you should hop elsewhere. If you love seafood, head straight to here before 6pm or you will have to wait in line.

Recently went for my once a year lobster dinner. Very disappointed. Lobster was over cooked and did not seem very fresh. Also had horrible reaction later that night to something that I ate (diahrrea). Prices were okay and staff was pleasant.Bag chick

Husband and I ate here today because we remembered how good the food was when we ate there last year. Clam chowder was delicious and full of clams, potatoes, and seasoned perfectly. Husband had a 2 lb lobster that he said was delicious and we both had corn on the cob. Very impressed with the food and service.

We met friends for lunch and all but one ordered bbq. Everyone's plate was cleaned when we were done. The brisket and sausage sandwich was great and so was the pulled pork sandwich. The blueberry lemonade was very refreshing and the blueberry pie and blueberry ice cream was the perfect ending. Do not miss this place.

Perfect stop to have a delicious meal in the Acadia region. Serving award winning BBQ and fresh local seafood.
The lobster roll had the least lobster on it out of multiple restaurants we tried in the area. The roll was not even opened... there was just some lobster on top of it making it look larger than it was. The haddock sandwich was very tasty. The coleslaw was bland. The french fries appeared to be fried twice and were hard. I couldn't even eat them. Based on the other reviews I would stick with the bbq.
