We all had fries on our plates, 6 of us, and all the fries were different one plate to the other. Some undercooked, overcooked or too greasy, others just fine.This tells me the kitchen is all over the place and that probably explains the mediocre food.For a franchise I would expect better quality and better operations in the kitchen. Traveling with my son and stopped at The Feathery Pub for a late Saturday dinner after unpacking him for University. Prices for both pints and food were very reasonable. I ordered the Steak and Mushroom Pie which came with lots of beef and mushrooms. I have had Steak and Mushroom Pie at other places where you had to play hide and seek through the gravy to find any steak or mushrooms. This was a good portion filled with the good stuff. My son had the Dagwood Sandwich which was piled high on marble rye bread. He thoroughly enjoyed it. We both had the balsamic greens as our side and they were a little wet from a bit too much dressing but not a big issue.DMthePMThank you very much for choosing the Feathery Pub for dinner & pints! Where to begin? The service was top notch. You felt as though you were surrounded by friends and the food was delicious. Everything was thoughtfully prepared with tons of taste. I would go daily if I lived closer. Great work by the Mr. making us feel comfortable and the cook is top notch. Great atmosphere, would love to recommend and come back.

I found this restaurant on the Find Me Gluten agree app me in preparation for our family trip to Niagara Falls. My son is autistic and is on a gluten-free diet so we were so happy to find this cute little restaurant with gluten free options just up the street from our hotel! The food was delicious and the wait staff was wonderful. Highly recommended! Go early because they get busy! My only suggestion to them is to replace their chairs. They are very wobbly and I thought I was going to bust my butt LOL

Our hotel manager recommended Hana's for breakfast. The food and service was great. The "special" breakfast was $3.75......what a deal! We enjoyed viewing the teapot collection that was displayed in the front window. This restaurant is definitely on our return list.

Our dinner at Play was very good. Itâs nice and quite with a relaxed feel. We ordered the Charcuterie board which had more than enough food for two and total delicious. We also had the fish tacos and a flatbread pizza, both fantastic. Service was excellent. Our server split the tacos onto two separate plates which was a great idea. I know this restaurant has a new sign which looks good and a much better appeal from the outside. But being in a strip mall the inside decor is pleasantly surprising. Very nice update. Nice job. Food was GREAT. Service super friendly. Total staff appears to be happy. I had a Ruben Sandwich with fries. I could only eat half but yummy. Awesome spinach dip and the deep fried ravioli is a nice change. Buffalo pizza was very spicy but we like that. The chicken sandwich was a winner as well. We will be going back the next time, we good see our daughter in Thorold.

Went to the Blue Line Diner for breakfast. Cannot say enough of this place. The staff is amazing and the food is delicious. Owned by NHL Hall of Famer, Marcel Dionne, every table has a decal of an NHL team and there are tons of photos. Marcel even cleans tables if it's busy. His store is right next door and has tons of memorabilia. He chatted with us and had a photo taken with us. We loved it so much that we went there for breakfast both days we were in Niagara Falls!!!

It was a bit of a push to get me to agree but was it ever worth it. From former cotton mill to a quality restaurant in just a few years is an amazing transformation. The Keg has long been a favourite place but it was always Waterdown. This time itâs St. Catharines. The menu is standard. Classics and Steaks. I usually have Prime Rib but I changed it up and had a steak. The staff was awesome. Helped me celebrated my birthday. Food tasted great. Remember to get a reservation. Itâs a very busy place. We got lucky.
