Grandkids are always ready for Sidelines discount wings. Easy to go thru 30 or 40 as an after school snack. Meaty and moist. Better than most st a lot less cost.
We got food from this place once, as it was close to home and we were new to the area. Both of us, who ate the wings, became sick several hours afterwards. One actually needed to go to the hospital. Coincidentally, that person was the one who ate most of the wings. I'm not certain that it was that food that made us ill, but we won't chance it, and reccommend that no one take the chance.

Forgive me Buckeye fans, but I slipped across the border to go to Angelo's. It's a classic American Italian place with a wide ranging menu and good quality food. The cheese bread was awesome to start with. I had the baked mostacolli and it was very good. Just a good solid restaurant.

We drove 45 minutes to visit ForestView because an acquaintance organized a craft beer gathering at this location. My review is based only on our experience with the indoor bar/restaurant area, not the activities, because we were not there for those. ForestView is clearly a very busy entertainment complex. They offer open and league bowling, volleyball, golf, and special events. They are adding other activities in the future. There is an outdoor bar and seating area which features 20 taps, as well as food. Indoor, which is where we landed, there is an average size dining room and bar, which leads into the adjoining bowling area. The indoor bar has 48 taps, and they feature many delicious selections. Driving from Ohio, it was nice to try several beers that are not sold in our state. The beer menu has a good description of each beer, pricing for various sizes, and growler fills, if applicable. Beer flights are available, and they are served 4 at a time on a wood tray. Our beer experience was very positive. I wish I could say the same about the food. We were told that the menu had just been revamped. It's mostly your typical bar fare, although there were some new additions, including several lamb dishes, which were not printed up yet. Two of us ordered chicken wings, which were supposed to be a pound. They were very small wings and not to anyone's liking in our party of four. The bartender claimed they were made with Franks Red Hot Sauce, which we love, but something else was going on, because they were so salty, they were inedible. I ate about 4 and asked to see the menu again. About 20 minutes later I ordered a cheese dip with chorizo and tortilla chips. Basically this was chorizo with some cheese melted on it. Although not what I was expecting, it was tasty. My friends ordered pizza and a burger. No complaints on the burger, but the pizza crust had no flavor according to my companion. Our bartender/server was clearly overwhelmed with taking care of the bar and getting food out. She seemed annoyed when I told her the wings were not good and I wanted to order something else. My general feeling is, this would be a good place to hang out for some drinks, but skip the food. And, obviously, if you're into sports, they've got you covered!I'm sorry to hear that you has a bad experience at Forest View. This is not what we would want any guest to experience. We recently hired a front of the house manager to work on improving our guest experience and are expanding our training and development we are doing with our team members. We have changed out several of the menu items that you referenced and the quality of the food offering has improved greatly. If you had any problem with the food, I hope you asked for a manager and they would have remade the item for you, if you were not happy with the quality. Please feel free to reach out to me privately, I would like to discuss your experience more and invite you back in to try us again. Rich (owner) 734-621-2996 or [email protected]

This is simply a great restaurant. Last night 8-discriminating, well-traveled foodie friends had a fantastic dinner and everyone was very pleased & satisfied. The old world, elegant atmosphere alerts you that this will not be an ordinary experience. Service was prompt and professional, but without being intrusive. But the singular best reason this is a special place is the food. Mostly the table had the steaks (fillets, rib eyes & NY Strips), all tasty & cooked to perfection, but others had scallops or seafood combinations and even the lone vegan loved the individually-prepared salad & veggies. Pricing is appropriate for the quality & presentation, but there are possible deals. The wine, recommended by our server & on special, was a spectacular 2014 Burgess Napa Cab that was marked up only 50%, and was dark, rich & delicious. It was a celebration and the pre-ordered chocolate layer cake was absolutely scrumptious. All-in-all, it was just a perfect and very memorable fun evening with friends.

After my third visit I expected what I had received in my previously visits to this restaurant. I guess the overwhelming success has led to inevitable shortcut in smoking technique. The first time I ordered a full rack ($23) it was excellent. Maybe the best ever. And I have smoked many, many racks myself. I know good barbecue ribs. What I received last night was not good. I ate three bones and took the rest to go. I knew it was too good to last. To describe the reason for my disappointment, the ribs were not perfectly tender like the first time I ordered them. They seemed to be precooked, maybe boiled, maybe in the oven. They did spend some time in the smoker, this was obvious. But most smokehouses will eventually resort to taking shortcuts such as this, especially when they cannot keep up. Smoking ribs is difficult and time consuming. When you follow the rules, it shows. When you cut corners, the ribs will tell on you. I hope this restaurant is not another flash in the pan that goes the way of Famous Dave's or others, but my recent experience seems to indicate that it may.

Registry is a casual elegant restaurant that is unique to the Toledo area. We serve the cuisine of our time that highlights our regionâs bounty. We focus on seasonally inspired shareable small dishes as well as offer a full selection of composed entrees.
Toledo is fortunate to have many excellent restaurants, but most offer traditional American / Midwestern fare. RB provides a whole new perspective & opportunity to sample extremely well prepared & presented worldwide cuisine. Last night four serious foodies had what only could be termed an amazing meal. We had ( and shared) the Cioppino, the Moroccan Braised Goat Shank, the Braised Venison & Bucatini Carbonara; all were delightfully pleased. RB also offers expertly prepared craft cocktails and a well-constructed wine selection. Service by Jackson was attentive, professional, but not intrusive. Just a lovely evening & highly recommended!
