CIRCLE W serves the best sandwiches and salads in the Catskills region. And, they also sell a lot of nice things in their shop. Organic nuts, local granola, bars, drinks... A Great to stock up on sustainable/organic items and snacks. I love the hummus sandwich served as a bowl. YUM! and, the servings are really huge. Everyone I've asked who's been here love it. You won't go wrong. Good for vegetarian and vegan options too . .

Prospect Restaurant at Scribners Lodge serves a playful twist on local cuisine inspired by the rich and diverse offerings of the Hudson Valley.
We sat at the bar, our bartender was very nice, conversational and made great cocktails. The views are beautiful, service is not rushed-you're in a relaxing environment (aprés ski).We ordered a few apps that were all delicious: shishito peppers, diver scallop crudo and the cheese plate. My only complaint, we had to order the $5 bread because there were only two slices of bread with the cheese plate (there were three of us & we didn't ration well). We will be back!

Ribs, pulled pork and Texas brisket were all flavorful and tender. We ordered the 6 rack ribs and all of them were large, tender pieces. The portion in the 2 meat basket is a decent size so can definitely be split between 2 people. Coleslaw was fresh. Cornbread was airy with kernels in it. Three different sauces at the table to pick from - all good and each tastes unique. Service very good and waitress very knowledgeable so was able to help us select many menu items that worked with my allergies. Waited about 15 min for food to arrive. May not be inexpensive, but is reasonably priced.

I ordered the pan-roasted Catskill trout, served with roasted mango hummus and sauteed kale, basted in honey-thyme oil. Although a standard menu item, the fish was so overcooked that portions couldn't be separated from the underlying skin. While I was disappointed, my friend ordered two specials: clams and fishes tacos. She found both excellent. My final rating is the average of the overall experience.

We visited at mid-day (around 3pm), and the place was packed with no available tables, so we decided to take our meals to go. We ordered 2 burgers, once with french fries and the other with tater tots. It took approx. 20 min to receive our order. The burgers, while tasty, were on a small side. My 2 beef patty burger was not much larger than the one you would get from BK, which was a disappointment, since burgers are the specialty at this place.Unfortunately, we did not examine the contents of the bag in time, otherwise I would have taken it back to the counter right away. The tots were very good, but the french fries were an embarasement (see my photo). My burger also came with caramelized onions, of which I counted exactly 3 pieces.I think the owner should shake up the kitchen a bit, or start losing business of repeat customers, and rely only on one-time visitors.

I really hate to write a bad review but we had an awful time at this diner Saturday night. I really think the poor waitress was the only one doing anything that night. There were two bus boys who could get drink orders and cash out diners but the waitress was running around like crazy. Took 45 min to get our 4 dinners, two of which were salads! I counted 30 people in the whole place so I am not sure what took so long. I finally had to ask where our food was. She came out moments later acting annoyed saying she was waiting until everything was ready together but she decided sense it was taking so long she brought out what was ready. All three meals came out including one salad but the other was not ready yet she said.. very strange. They could make one Caesar salad but not the second one???? Mostly the food was good. Not great, Unfortunately my open face hot turkey sandwich had been done and sitting under the lights the whole 45 min we waited. The gravy had a skim on the top from sitting and it was cold. It was really a bummer of a meal. Very disappointed.

Nestled in the Catskill Mountains, just 2.5 hours away from NYC, youâll find a secluded escape with breathtaking views that is Deer Mountain Inn. With 2 roaring fireplaces and walls adorned with Catskill ephemera and Hudson River School paintings, our coz
Did not stay at the Inn but thoroughly enjoyed attending a wedding there. Gorgeous inside. Fabulous outside seating that got chilly this time of year with limited view. Inside and outside bars. Two fireplaces and pretty stairs to the lawn. The food and service excellent. Baby grand piano should someone want music during cocktail reception. We were impressed.

Family restaurant serving lunch and dinner daily. We specialize in american comfort food including steaks, burgers, meat loaf, and chicken pot pie.
Love the ambiance, a fun building with some booths, some tables, lots of seating choices. Collection of all kinds of antique bottles and more- not sure if some of these items are for sale... Friendly service- Lots of comfort food choices on the menu- like Meatloaf- really enjoyed my fresh green salad, and the tomatoes! Grandmas Meatloaf with mashed potatoes was enough to share- and the brown gravy just the right amount! Honestly I could have used a spiced up Meatloaf but if just your basic Grandmas Meatloaf is your speed-- order this! Solid choice in Tannersville!
