The view along the Truckee River ( dine outside) was simply amazing! Service top notch. Parking is iffy If they are busy. Make reservations!!! The appetizers are FANTASTIC. Main course options are satisfactory. The only reason not giving top score was the Johnny Burger was ordered medium and it was raw. With that being said, itâs well worth a evening dining in Tahoe City

WEST SHORE MARKET is a neighborhood grocery and deli in Tahoe City, offering a coffee bar, gourmet deli, craft beer and spirits, wine cellar, sundries, organic produce and year-round gelato.
Great sandwiches and salads. Roast Beef, Cubano, Club, Veggie, BLAT, Pastrami, and Tuna Melt. All made to order. Market had everything else for a picnic. Off street parking plus you can eat inside or out. Friendly service. Youâll want to stop here often when you are at Lake Tahoe.

We've been to Christy Hill a few times now and the two best dishes are the gnocchi appetizer and scallops entree. The pan roasted gnocchi comes with duck confit, mushrooms, peas, port jus and a perfect egg. Use a spoon and make sure you get some of each ingredient. It's a perfect spoon! The scallops are perfectly cooked, although a bit pricey ($40 for 3 scallops). Try 'The Liar' ripasso red wine from the Veneto region in Italy. Reasonably-priced and delicious.

We enjoy creating food that is simply prepared, hand made, BIG on flavor; using high quality ingredients. Some folks refer to our menu as âgourmet comfort cuisineâ. We just think of it as fresh, delicious food, prepared with love; and served in a comforta

Enjoyed a wonderful relaxing lunch on the outside deck warmed by the sun. Staff was very friendly. Lunch was just perfect. Enjoyed the ground turkey tacos which tasted fresh and full of flavor. Also pear gorgonzola salad was fresh with a great dressing. The views of the lake and snow covered mountains will be a forever memory.

Sunnyside's spectacular location on the pristine West Shore makes it the place to be in Lake Tahoe. Panoramic views of the lake and mountains beyond abound from nearly every table and during the summer, guests can also enjoy alfresco dining on Lake Tahoe'
We headed back on 89 towards Tahoe City looking for a place to eat dinner. Weâd heard about Sunnyside from a fellow traveler and since the restaurant was one of the few on the water, and casual where we could eat a light meal, we decided to try it out. We ate on the deck overlooking the lake and sat next to a nice couple from Arizona. Since the woman I met suggested the salmon bowl we both thought weâd try it and were glad we did. It was a light meal with sweetened grated carrots, cucumbers, edamame, seaweed, white rice and a perfectly cooked piece of sesame encrusted salmon. On the side was a teriyaki dipping sauce. A glass of Pinot Gris and a great lake view made for a perfect evening until the sun dropped and the chill air breeze came upon us forcing us wimps to leave.

Firesign is THE spot for a great breakfast! Many optionsâ huge omelets and other portions. The coffee is good and served aplenty! The choices are varied and the waitresses take an incredible numbers of special requests. The eggs Benedict, tofu scramble, and the crepes were all hits. Very comfortable in here!

Every time I'm going out on the lake I try and stop by obexers to grab sandwiches before we head out.Friendly service, always crowded but always served quickly. Great sandwich menu and you can also build whatever you want. Awesome general store with great selections and all sorts of good snacks and a lot of local stuff. Have all the booze and beer and drinks you could want. This summer I don't know if it's new but they have a grill out back, You can get burgers and dogs and street tacos which is pretty fun.Great place to stop to stock up on whatever you need for a good lake day.

*The West Shore Cafe & Inn's restaurant is temporarily closed and will reopen in December for winter restaurant operating hours.* A picturesque lakefront restaurant and inn located at Lake Tahoe's west shore, the West Shore Cafe offers guests delicious cu
West Shore Cafe is our special treat place for many reasons. When you walk in the building you get a feel of yesteryear Lake Tahoe. The big open ceilings, artwork and views always make me smile. We have spent Christmas Eve with it snowing; 4th of July on the Pier with fireworks...and it is always a memorable experience. The food and service is always stellar and well...you just do not get a better view! We were at a wedding last month and once again for a large group the service was wonderful and the filet mignon for over 100 was to die for! This is a spectacular place if you are planning a wedding! Any way....we are big fans of West Shore Cafe! If it is your first trip to Tahoe....make sure you go!

There aren't a lot of good dining options in the Tahoma area.West Shore Pizza is always busy. They have a relatively ample bar, but limited seating options if you have a big group. There is online ordering available. They have good pizza, salads and appetizers.Great option if you are renting in the Tahoma area.
