We decided to try Kostas Family Restuarant while passing through Dillsboro. What a find! Large portions, shrimp plate had 13 big shrimp with fries and slaw, chicken ceasar pita was so big I couldn't finish it, fish and chips were plentiful too. Prices were reasonable and we will be back when traveling that way again.

We showed up with a group of 8 for dinner approximately 2 hours prior to closing and were turned away due to us having a large group. I could understand having a wait, but to turn away business is not a good way to run your business.We are sorry you did not have the opportunity to dine with us. Unfortunately, on busy nights when our reservations are fully booked we have no choice but to stop seating, We strive to be the #1 steakhouse in the North Carolina Mountains. We had passed by this restaurant several times over the years but never stopped because parking lot was always crowded. On this visit to the area, we went for an early dinner on Sunday evening, and we are glad we did. Excellent food and service. And the fried Oreos were to die for. Enough to share 3 ways! We will definitely return and also recommend for others visiting in the area.

We visit this eatery every time we visit Sylva and Dillsboro. Try the Big Fat Greek crepe! The ingredients are fresh, the service is friendly, and the business' commitment to the community is evident. And the beer selection is excellent.

Excellent seafood, considering you are in mountains of North Carolina. Our meals of raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller, catfish, fried shrimp and peel and eat shrimp were outstanding, not to mention the hush-puppies. Angelica was our waitress and she was super. I don't think you would be disappointed eating here.

Cute little place with a lovely outdoor patio in the back and dogs are welcome. Lunch was good but nothing special. Fresh salads, and a different small plate (which was very generous) of grilled potbelly mushrooms. Gorgonzola salad dressing was disappointing, however... Very runny and not enough zing.

Wow! This has become my favorite BBQ in Western NC! With so many sauces to choose from, there is a taste that everyone will love. Delicious collard greens as well! Oh and did I mention the desserts, especially the banana pudding! If you are in the area, donât miss this place!

Asheville has nothing on this place. We thoroughly enjoyed a few local brews in the afternoon on an outside covered deck overlooking a small river. The bartender was helpful in steering us to something she thought that we would like. Very laid back place. Parking is not good. NOTE: I rated the food excellent even though there is none since Tripadvisor would not have allowed a rating but do not serve food at this establishment. There is an adjoining food truck (Cosmic) where you can get short orders and a pizza place in the same building.

Mini Donut Place offers over 18 flavors of hot fresh made to order mini donuts. We also have specialty sandwiches like our redneck grilled cheese and a full liquor and beer menu to wash it all down.

Stopped here on the way out of town. We tried glazed, powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, and salted caramel. All were delicious! Note, four pack isnât enough. We went back for more.
